Well I don't have a puppy, but I do have something else that I can play with I guess…

So, maybe they are not puns per se, maybe more like innuendos. But I just made a few so I will just plonk them here under #2. 1) We were planning to do a documentary video to promote our creative writing programmes, so we were thinking of former students to interview. But because most of our previous students were girls, it was very hard to find a male to complete the balance. In the midst of racking our brains for prospective male candidates and me searching the hard drives, I turned to my colleague and asked: "So, do you need a guy?" If I had bothered to complete my sentence, he would have gotten that I was referring if we still needed a male student for the interviews. But getting what had just happened, he had grinned and answered back with a pun of his own: "Heh, not anymore." 2) A similar situation - we were thinking of males to interview for the next issue of our magazine, as our previous issues had been graced by girls. When I pointed out one prospective male to my colleague, he said 'no' as he felt this person was not photogenic enough for the magazine cover. He then asked me to find someone else and I had replied: "He is the only guy I am thinking of right now!" No, no, no, I am really NOT into younger guys...just no. 3) I was looking at the proposal my colleague had written up for our documentary, and my eyes fell on the production schedule. The dates were so closed together and with only three months left to produce the video. So I commented on the schedule's arrangement: "Wow, it's really tight. So tight." Definitely not thinking of schedules there...
