i think one of the things that led to the rift in anakin and obi wan's relationship is that anakin saw obi wan as a father figure and obi wan saw anakin as a younger brother, and all the times obi wan teased anakin or made fun of him, it was Older Brother Teasing and not obi wan actually being angry/disappointed with him, and because anakin saw obi wan as a father figure and wanted to impress him and make him proud, he didn't want to go to obi wan with his problems
