Ohhh friend please don’t tempt me like this or I’ll sneak her in somewhere, this girl has lived in my heart since I first got into One Piece as a wee teen and if I give her the opportunity she’ll grab it and run away with me.

But also, I love this idea? Travelling writer? Banned books?? She’d be known for her series of bodice-rippery adventure novels romanticising piracy so shamelessly there’d be a bounty on her head because of it (although the sheer, obscene number would be due to some pedantic little shit at navy HQ taking offence to her over-use of dashes). She’d do illegal and secret book signings. She’d send personally autographed copies of her newly published books to the Fleet Admiral, attached with a picture of herself flipping him off and a note asking for his opinion (“please pay especially close attention to the love scene in chapter 11, I would like to hear your thoughts on the pacing. On that note – just how sturdy are the desks you’ve got at Headquarters?”). She’d straight up dedicate her novels to prominent figures within the navy out of cheerful spite.

She’d also commission some struggling but daring artist to draw the shirtless pirates on the covers (because of course there would be, if this is me). They’d go on adventures together, as it would require the covert and relentless stalking of certain infamous figures (although let’s be real, Shanks would probably pose if asked).
