Uncharismatic Fact of the Day
Unfortunately the lava gull isn't made out of lava, but that doesn't make it any less cool! They are named for their dark coloring, which allows them to blend seamlessly into the lava-rock of their home. The 300-600 members of the species reside exclusively on the Galapagos Islands, making them the rarest gull on Earth.
