Went to the Brighton Sealife centre yesterday with my sister, brother in law, nice and husbundo @scifer for the animal crossing cross over and belated birthday for my litle nice.

Lots of fun, and I basically went around every cut out and dress up of the animal crossing character to be photoed basically doing this:

Lots of stuff about plastic and supporting local species, and my fave was this one eyed friend.

It's all good stuff. Have some photos, I had more but photo flash hurts a lot of the animals eyes and my phone is rather rubbish without flash.

Raining today, but not too bad. And I’m hella cute in my raincoat anyway.

Today’s beach recipe is something new - and really cute! Maybe I could even put this in my house somewhere.

Ooh, this is nice! Picking which color is hard, but I think I’ll go with the green.

Having a deeply intense intellectual conversation with Sprinkle this morning. Heavy stuff.

With Tucker gone today, I’m going to see if I can find a new resident.

Tipper looks cute. Emidori has two cows, but that doesn’t bother me. But she’s a gossiper, and I don’t really need more than one of those on the island if I can help it.

I got the new whacky DIY I’ve seen people talk about. But I actually want to save the gold for the gold screen wallpaper recipe I have.

I go to another new island. I don’t get a huge sense of her personality, but she’s cute and unusual and doesn’t say anything I don’t like, so I happily invite her.

Cool new outfit.

Time to figure out what to do with the vending machines I ordered from the catalog. I know I’ll want to set them up with a bench, so I make this one and color it black.

I didn’t realize the drinking machine was customizable. I think because the machine is green, it’d be fun to advertise a melon drink (and I really like those green melon drinks). I quickly try to google one, but I don’t find one made already by anyone else. So after a little trial and error, here’s my melon drink ad.

The beach-side of the garden looks like a nice, cozy spot for a snack haven. I’m slightly irked that the machines are different sizes, so the whole thing can’t really be centered, but it looks totally fine.

As I’m setting it all up, Patty has a request for me. I’ve gotten a request like this before from Shari for a butterfly fish, and despite fishing like crazy that day, I was not able to catch one (and it is not a common one on my island either). But fortunately it didn’t take long for me to catch one of these butterflies for Patty.
