Dyfed, patrol captain and veteran of the Weasel War
I ran into a patch of difficulty with art, just had trouble doing anything with it; I decided I wanted to start a new method of drawing, but it’s pretty dang hard to unlearn that stuff. Last week, I flew to Chicago to stay here for a month with @seasickseaslug and @arpol and was still in that rut...
But then I read @arpol‘s hardcovers of the Mouse Guard books, and seeing @davidpetersenart‘s stuff really made me want to draw again. So, a few days later, I did! I even experimented with coloring, which I generally don’t like doing! I think it came out well enough, so it’s an encouraging little start. Once I’m home and not drawing with a tiny laptop in an art program I’m not super familiar with, I can hopefully do something better. The lines are messy as all heck!
Mouse Guard, of course, belongs to the aforementioned David Petersen.
