at first glance i saw this message and was super confused because i was like “why is leesh messaging me instead of texting me???” but now i’m all good and thank you my lil gumdrop for sending these.
out of what you've written so far for grey street, what scene has been your favourite to write?
my favorite scene has definitely been the end scene in the prologue. it was difficult writing it because it is a scene that will actually occur mid-way through the actual story so i had to make sure going in that i would be able to properly structure the story around it! but the scene itself i think is quite nerve-wracking and it left a lot of people curious as to what harry did over in afghanistan, which is what i was aiming for.
what has been the hardest for you to write?
a scene that you all haven’t read yet because its quite a few chapters away still... let’s just say that things get a little tumultuous after that restaurant scene from the prologue and there’s a sort of blowout. there’s a lot of research that goes into this fic and especially that scene because i want to portray harry’s ptsd as accurately as possible.
what was the initial inspiration/idea behind the fic itself?
*chuckles to self* well i am complete and utter stucky trash which makes me a slut for soldier!anyone fics. i wanted to read a fic where harry was a soldier and there weren’t any so i took the phrase “write the fics you wish to see in the world” quite literally.
what is one idea that you've always wanted to write but haven't had the chance?
i’ve had this idea of an outlander au with harry as jamie stuck in my head for ages, but haven’t put much more thought into it than that. but just picture harry styles tromping around the highlands in a kilt.... actually somebody please write this asap thanks.
