Forbidden Power
Again, again, can we please get the people doing AoS to script fucking 40k?
Forbidden Power is so good compared to 40kās myopic obsession with one faction. We have:
1) Lady Olynder, a female and an antagonist, BEATING THE CELESTANT PRIME in a fight, just winning, no tricks, she just wins!
2) Death finally wins a fucking plot relevant battle and simply succeeds in their plan to break open the Midnight Vault and release MisterĀ āTithe of Bonesā guy inside.
3) Teclis and Tyrion are likeĀ āDuh we knew what you were doing Sigmar, did you really think you could hide it from us?ā and Grungni him fucking self is likeĀ āSigmar, donāt be an idiot, Teclis is gonna figure this out,ā when Sigmar tells him he mustnāt tell Teclis.
4) Sigmar canāt do jackshit with the Illumination Engines himself he needs to ask Grungni to do it.
5) On top of ALL OF THIS the book finds time to also just off-handidly give Gordrakk another Epic Win where he crushes the Astral Templars, a major Stormhost, and totally wrecks them when they try to block him ransacking one of the Stormvaults. Not only does Gordrakk win, something beyon Ghazghkullās abilities, he now also has a superweapon battering ram that can blow up mountains
You see how in AoS the Stormcast arenāt invincible protagonists who are better than everyone at everything? Can we please get whoever is writing them to write the fucking Space Marines?
