11. describe your ideal day. i mean, there’s the stay-at-home-all-day one, which is reading, writing, jigsaw-puzzling, cooking, sunbathing and swimming, a little bit of gardening, a movie in my pajamas with tea and homemade soup..... or there’s the gone-all-day one, which is go see a morning movie, get early lunch, go to the art museum, get a bookstore treat, get boba tea, then go to some body of water and drink/write while watching the sunset

3: What is the worst book you’ve ever read? god. looking for alaska just pissed me off on so many levels. though recently the worst was probably an ember in the ashes, i just got SO ANGRY at SO MANY THINGS and i honestly wanted to rip it in half because everyone loved this garbage

29: A book that makes you feel comforted? i just really love reading the penderwicks and it’s been a long time since i did and maybe that’s what i need to do, because the penderwicks is just a perfect book

31: Favorite villain in a book? uuuugurhg i don’t know, i usually hate villains bc they’re boring or badly written. um. i mean we could do the usual “oh umbridge i hate her” but i don’t actually hate umbridge, i just hate that she exists, you know. can i say artemis fowl???? he was kind of the villain for a bit

fairy: what would you call your aesthetic?

i have lots! hugs first thing in the morning before you’re fully awake, the feeling if sunlight on your back, long and dark hair, bookshelves stuffed full, antique shops, a high note sung just right, fields of wildflowers and late summer parties outside... 

phoenix: do you like hot weather?

yes and no? i hate winter weather (but also not. ha.) so the sunlight and longer days are great. but i get irritable and short-tempered in the heat. humidity is horrible, too. i’m all right as long as there’s a pool or beach nearby. also ice cream. lots of ice cream. (and then my parents and i eat spicy stews in the middle of summer, haha) 

sprite: what is your favorite combination of colors? (ex. purple and blue, orange and pink)

(already answered!) but earth tones and grays layered together are nice. also, a bit irrelevant, but i love wearing hanbok (traditional korean clothing) because you can match any color, and while it might clash with western color, it somehow works. 

angel: what are three things you love about one of your close friends? (you can name them or not)

mmm... ari’s great sense of humor, supportiveness, and how down she is for anything (like a spontaneous, let’s-go attitude)! also how she has a high tolerance for people she doesn’t necessarily like, but never puts up with any bullshit. my bestie <3

my freedom. i value personal relationships highly, but i feel solid with my circle of close family/friends. i think having no personal freedom or autonomy, being subject to the whim of another person (like. people. i’m fine with God telling me what to do and stuff. it’s other people.) and not having any say in the matter. being forced to do things that i don’t want to. 

oh, and losing use of my hands-- (bye-bye sketching, piano, flute, and writing) and sight. also being tied down to one place and never being able to go where i want.
