The Grumpers
Itโs December my child, And it is time that you hear. Of the Ghastly little Grumpers, That bring little cheer.
Grumpers live in shiny balls, That you hang upon your tree. Theyโre hungry little creatures, And they enjoy their sleep, you see.
If a bauble breaks, you wake them, And theyโre free to do what they do. Which is mostly eating children, just, for example, letโs say you.
They eat all your hair first, Then your fingers and toes. They then suck all the boogers, Right out of your nose. They take the ears next, So you canโt hear their burping. But they take eyes last, So youโll still see their slurping.
The rest they just leave To be found in the morning. They do this, I think, To give others a warning.
So, when you dress the tree this Yule, Take your time and do so steadily. Cause if an ornament hits the ground, Their contents could be deadly.
