Reposted from @dankflowgenetics2.0 Sweet Jack Haze 8 Bred by @karmagenetics Probably one of my most resilient phenos at the moment. Hardly any thrips gettin at her, and i also had some cuts of her in the tent where i had spider mite outbreak, not a single mite or egg on any of those cuts. Really excited to hit her with some of that Third Leg. Next round of beans is gonna be crazy š got some heat comin for yāall! Within the next year or two i should be able to release a new batch of beans atleast once a year. Right now im working diligently to ensure all the lines are tested thoroughly from start to finish! My next pheno hunt will be starting fairly soon. Some of the strains Iāll be hunting include my Stanky Leg, the Salami Glue F2s, some Gods Green Crack by @joftheislands and perhaps a cheese cultivar of some sort. On the hunt for some blue cheese so if anyone knows someone, lemme know!! #growyourown #homegrown #itsaplant #legalizeit #fueledbythc #hightimes #poweredbyDFG #thc #cbd #karmagenetics #haze #sativa #indica #indoorgrow #growroom #organicgrow #microbelife #photosynthesisplus #slf100 #slf100clan #livingsoil #feedthesoil #loyaltothesoil #notill #freetheplant #mmj #allgasnobrakes #sunplix #cobshop #necompost https://www.instagram.com/p/CQq58R_LiSA/?utm_medium=tumblr

Gelato 33 - week 7
Okay can we talk about grow rooms??
Before I start, just know- I am not an expert by ANY means and my results may vary. I am a seasoned gardener both indoor and out but this is my first shot and growing marijuana! *it is legal to grow for personal use where I live, yes I checked the laws*
So like, is it just me or is a grow room expensive as shit? Growing outdoors is not an option where I live for multiple reasons- I rent my house, I live near a school, my yard in not entirely fenced in, and I donāt want to be judged by my neighbors. Anyfreakingways, I searched and searched for a grow set up that would work for me both in my house and in my budget and to be honest I struggled for weeeeks. My thing is this- I donāt smoke heavily and it doesnāt make sense to me to pay more to grow than I would have for the weed in the first place, but I digress.
As I mentioned I am a true blue, to the core novice at growing mj so I reasearched A LOT! And there are all sorts of forums and websites to read but at the end of it all I had a quite a few different opinions on soil and lights and containers but based on my other plant knowledge none of it seemed inherently incorrect- just different. I decided it was just a case of different strokes for different folks, so I kinda meshed it all together and came up with a list of essentials.
-lights: I chose LED for their cost efficiencies and because I prefer not to permanently install something into my walls or ceilings. And I got a variety of different light set ups, one bulb set up one bar set up and a strip of lights that I thought was SO cool! I am going to see what type works best- not use them all at once! I also bought 4 emergency Mylar blankets to sew to the interior for reflection. It sounds tedious but you really only need a few stitches here and there to anchor it!
-planters: I chose 5 gallon buckets and drilled holes in the sides and bottom to allow air flow and drainage.
-soil: I went organic, I canāt find the exact brand in their website but I found bags at Walmart that were on clearance as it is September already. I put maybe a half cup of gravel at the bottom of each bucket to assist with air flow and drainage. My research led me to be HIGHLY concerned about root rot with overwatering. (Learned the hard way, killed 2 plants 19 days in, pure devastation)
-airflow: I see every grow room set up has an exhaust and fan and I get it but my greenhouse has a door I can leave open for exhaust reasons and I have a small fan for air flow.
SOOOO, here are some of the materials I purchased to make a cost efficient at home grow room. I know I may have to adapt some items around and trial and error a bit so wish me and my babies luck!!
Trichocereus pachanoi under 700 watt LED growlights (aka the āmigraine makerā).
Project Copiapoa is nearing full launch and the Trichocereus cuttings (pictured) I will be using as grafting stockļæ¼ have just about rooted into their pots. I have C. dealbata and C. cinerea standing by for attching their scions to the Trichoās root stockārerooting whatās removed for further grafting later on.
Hopefully I will start having mature specimens ready to market maybe 2025.
