Since I went to Iceland last year I have not been actively on Facebook. I post through Instagram that automatically gets posted to all my social media outlets through some IFTTT automation scripts. Personally I don't miss it one bit. I think social media is a major time suck for most people and gives people a false sense of reality I prefer to be present in the moment instead of taking a selfie of the moment to post to social media so my "friends" can see the cool stuff I did. #PictureOrItDidntHappen With that being said I understand as a business owner that social media is very important. Facebook groups has been very good for building community at the gym. I haven't had the Facebook or messenger app on my phone in over year. I have just been using their Groups app which allows me to read and post to groups without all the clutter of Facebook. Well no more. It appear Facebook really wants to market towards me and collate data.
