New Ducktales tomorrow!
Speculation time!
We see Penumbra again, after who knows how long since the finale of season 2 and the Moon denizens somehow being left there.
One thing I'm looking forward to is more interaction between Penumbra and Della. Have they been hanging out? Have they become sparring buddies?
It's obvious Penumbra isn't used to Earth, given the episode is over her homesickness for the Moon, so of course she'd seek respite with someone she knows or some place she feels is home to her. So wherever she's been, it must have been a place that makes her feel at home. Or, another thought.
She's been roaming. She could just be lending her efforts to others to make up for the Moonvasion. It could be she's been lending her fighting skills to earth's army's, or to Scrooge. Or she could be slowly warming up to the idea of having a friend in Della.
Either way, I wanna see where she's been and how Webby can help her feel more welcome to Earth.
As for Glomgold?
It's Glomgold. We all know how that's gonna go. And given Gibbous, the other Moon citizen, was with him in the promo, it's obvious the duck has tangled himself in another fawner who may see potential and influence in him. Which means we can expect more insanity and Glomgold giddiness.
Something I also noticed recently is how FOWL has not recruited Glomgold for their ranks. They have Phantom Blot, Magicka, Gandra Dee, and Steelbeak, but they haven't bothered to ask Glomgold. This could be because Glomgold has never been successful any attempts to best Scrooge or his family. Or anyone, to be honest. The closest he got was in "The 87-Cent Solution", and even then he foiled himself because of his ego.
So why would FOWL not bother to recruit him?
Another answer could be the obvious one I mentioned: Glomgold isn't that bright, and has an ego the size of his own fortune. He'd blurt out FOWL's plans and intentions before Scrooge and the others would know. He'd also start to annoy the other members of FOWL the moment he started going on and asserting control of plans. It would make for good comedy, but it would bungle FOWL.
I think Glomgold in another episode may beg or try to get serious to be seen as a formidable ally for FOWL. Or accomplish the opposite. Either way, that's gonna be good!
Tangent aside, this episode promises to be a nice departure from the darker episodes we've seen before! Can't wait!
