Clarice's Hour - December 10th, 2017 at PUNTO space with Group .BR #groupdotbr, NY's only Brazilian theater company, is once again partnering with Moreira Salles Institute from Brazil to bring to New York Clarice's Hour (Hora de Clarice). The event, created in 2011, celebrates the birthday of the Brazilian iconic writer, Clarice Lispector. The company will present art installations and performances from its latest show, Inside the Wild Heart, an immersive theatrical experience based on Clarice Lispector's work. The special guests Katrina Dodson, translator of Lispector's Complete Stories, and Rebecca Ariel Porte, Ph.D. in English Language and Literature, will discuss the short stories Mineirinho and The Egg and the Chicken. Clarice's Hour is supported by Moreira Salles Institute, Punto Space, Natura Brasil, Leblon Cachaça and Materials for the Arts. Tomorrow!
