Also in a hypothetical crossover, I genuinely can’t tell if Abaddon and Pip (specifically small edition Pip, because his older self just wouldn’t fuck around and find out with any demon, even if that demon is stuck in the body of a 16th century lil guy so he just wouldn’t interact at all) would get along, I think they’re too similar and too feral to become friends and will probably become mortal enemies with Esther encouraging them to fight because she wants to see who would win
I wanna say Pip wins, only because Kathy notices Abaddon attacking Pip and immediately puts a stop to that shit (without knowing that pip is an equally fucked up demon child and was just about to tear Abaddon to shreds)

-Hope , Peril , and Nicholas' cloaks are more yellowed than Hamlet's because they've been dead longer/are older.
-I made Hamlet's mask a bit darker so it would match with Ezekiel's as a way to show their connection , as well as them facing inward/to each other.
-Magpie is looking at Ace , because the fact they wish they had their own palisman/Patchwork would come to life. Longing heh.

Sage is the most recent Golden Guard from the time line , and because the rest are very much dead , she's their replacement. The previous guards were "sent to war" (Aka made into Golden Guards and then killed). So she's what's left from that. She's what's left from children sent to war >:3 She's gonna be "sent off to war" ( killed stab stabed killed ) at some point as well , and then that'll pass the "what's left" role to Hunterrrr.
When she got Pip, it was obviously motherhood at first, very feral hand thievery much to her dismay /j
No, but seriously it kicked in pretty early. The only problem is Eda didn’t consider it that way, but she’s always basically treated both Pip and King like a very lenient mother and at worst kinda annoying roommates.
Like when Eda originally got Pip (and then eventually King) she definitely did not consider it to be maternal at all but tbf she had the emotional self-unawareness of a walnut before Luz and struggled a lot with identifying or seeing herself in the idea of motherhood because of what she thought that entailed.
So to her, when she was able to actually identify her maternal instincts being kicked in finally was when Luz came along just like in the show.
But before that, Eda could deny it all she wanted, but everyone around her could tell and knew Pip and King were her two little feral (in King’s case very literal) boneheads.
To the point that Lilith just calls them Eda’s wards (and then eventually her children)
And most of their more distant family just assumes Pip is either a bastard child that Eda for some reason doesn’t want to properly claim or is a child of another blood relative of theirs from a cousin who went off the deep end that Eda was close to a couple of years before Pip came along and hasn’t contacted anyone since (also Pip does bear a lot of resemblance to this cousin and a lot of other family members idk the Wittebane genes somehow managed to survive this long in the modern Clawthorne line, idk how, but they did), so they think Eda might be taking care of that cousin’s child until she hopefully returns back to the family but because of the super complicated family drama and her already low contact with them isn’t open about it.
