Ok i decided i need to put an introduction post for one of my bigger projects before I finish the trailer so here we are.
This is my tohAXEau or "Where the war axe is buried", a dark fantasy graphic novel and a maxi fanfic made by me and my so-author writer @ludwiglasy ^^
Tho its a fanfic I'll pitch it as if it was original ok? Ok. So!
This is a dark fantasy family drama centered around two immortal brothers who are stuck in a very unhealthy codependent relationship. The story will cover how it changed thru centuries and impacted people around them and hopefully will resolve into something less terrible with help of the kids or will end with death of both of them.

Tried my best to get a better grip on myself this year. Started polishing my art more, found a new niche (dnd/dark fantasy etc), went to psychologist. Only thing left is to find a stable day job…. I’m still kinda terrified of it. What if it won’t leave me any energy to draw? I still want to make my comic happen and everything. Just hope ill be able to find something chill enough to be more independent and at the same time have enough balance between irl and my art life. Thats my wish for this year I guess. So in toh Philip brought back basilisks to study them, are basilisks still extinct on toh axe au?
Theyy don’t exist here not really cuz we didnt needed them for the plot in any way. But also there is a in lore reason for that, Caleb wouldn’t let Philip experiment on living creatures firstly because “Don’t hurt people, Philip, for gods sake.” And second reason is Caleb would get really paranoid that Philip would try to use them against him somehow. So he prevented it by simply forbidding him from the idea, when they stumbled upon the opportunity.

So did Luz use time travel In the Axe AU, if so how does it work?
Right from the start she got into the Demon realm not by the door portal but by the time pool in the swamp around Gravesefield graveyard (where Belos made a portal in 3s1ep of the show) we took our liberties and set this place as a local leak between the two realms. Sooo Luz can’t go back any moment she wants this thing is very unpredictable and thats why Philip can’t just send her back home easily, it becomes a whole quest!
How do you keep drawing? Because I've been drawing almost every day since I always get motivated! Now that motivation is gone, I kept on drawing but the more I dragged it, the more my art slowly got ugly. I wanna keep drawing without losing my skills. :(
I find drawing soothing and fun. Also i want to tell a story so its not so important if its totally correct or hella pretty sometimes. I learned to be okay with imperfect art when it doesn’t hit and take a break for a day or two after i was drawing a lot. Also find again what do you like to draw what inspires you, look at it, look at youtube how other people draw it. For me its often makes wonders same way when you see someone eat you also get hungry.
