here’s something i don’t understand about grian’s watcher lore: the trope that he left evo and then showed up in hermitcraft after training with the watchers. grian was multiple episodes into hermitcraft when his evo finale came out. i think it’d make more sense if grian was doing evo and hermitcraft hand-in-hand when he became a watcher. and maybe he was still on hermitcraft while training with the watchers, if he trained with them at all (idk, maybe they came over on weekends). i also think it’s sorta weird that everyone depicts the watchers as these all-time evil, abusive creatures? like… no. the only time we’ve seen them do something morally wrong for no reason at all was when they destroyed evo after the dragon fight. every other time they did something like that is was because someone else cheated them or did something mischievous. and if the watchers are evil, why does everyone seem to think grian is the only good one? would he not be coerced into their evil lifestyles as well? idk it just never really made sense for me.
