thinking about compositing sybil and gresilda...i feel like they each have plot points in places where the other doesnât and like they could run parallel to and blend w e/o pr well
edit: the most difficult thing would be reconciling their personalities which are obv pr different, and also figuring out precisely how the melisenda/amia relationships would fit in, but their trajectories are pr similar -- both in the north at the same time w similar goals, both deciding to turn and fight in the same way at the same time ++ sybil would deF be the sort to like break out of prison/her family home/whatever and, when she knows she canât escape the guards, talk rowlin into hiring her as his personal guard which would obv be even MORE upsetting to lucian/renfry if she was supposed to be renfryâs bride hahaha but yeah!! i feel like a sybil wystan/gresilda grancourt plotwise would work
edit 2: so, weâd meet sybil wystan in s1 (years after sheâd been promised to the northern lord renfry -- or someone else -- and had run off to sea) doing her whole pirate thing, marooning james, getting captured by cassius etc. next, sheâs recognized by dmitrei and gets shipped off towards home (this time the west). however, on the way she escapes and runs to the north -- may or may not help amia/take amia w her? she/they run north to avoid pursuit where she claims to be gresilda grancourt and seeks work, which results in her working for rowlin the same way gresilda did. she hangs around up there basically tryna get enough $$$$/info to get back to the pirates, falls in w the n resistance a la gresilda, etc. then asp, as planned, godfrey shows up and theyâre reunited and sybil is like âur a rebel now fyiâ ;D and gets the pirates on board (heh) w the whole resistance thing and wham bam final battle stuffs!! their plots fill in the gaps in e/oâs plotlines v nicely i gotta say hahaha
