#greglow thoughts

I like to think Gregory had nice parents. And before you say- "yeah, because the tapes say that". No. I did not base it off the tapes, because they are surely talking some bs and are being manipulative in there. But I am just saying it from a headcanon view, but also kinda canon-ish(??)

I feel like they actually cared about their kid, unlike other fnaf parents - such as William and Bill (Vanessa's father). We can see Gregory expressing some impressive skills in canon, such as the hacking aspect that is displayed in his Glitchtrapped alt - Rab; as well as some other smarts. Plus, he doesn't seem to be neglected, despite being seen as a kid without a home if you get the bad ending in SB. (Another thing to add on is the missing person poster we see in Ruin, suggesting someone is actually looking for Gregory. While I do think they aren't around by that point, I am still including it as some evidence, because if they are, they are searching for him, which eaquals enough care for me)

I also feel like if they still are around after the events of SB, they'd be releived to find their missing son. And be thankful to Vanessa for returning him (that's if they are around and doublestarr duo actually find them and don't just decide to stay as trio including Freddy). If this happens, I would like to think that Gregory's parents would also take in Vanessa under their wing, seeing how she has no family and there's some tie for her and their son (this is if like they found them after like a longer time when greg and ness have bonded and have overcome their bumpy relationship). So in the end Nessie would be their adopted daughter and the boy's big sister

disclaimer, this takes place two or three years after sb and ruin...

I think that the first one to know about Tony and Gregory dating would be none other than Vanessa... like she kinda knew they were close, but one evening Gregory just comes clean about it while they are sat at the table, eating pizza for dinner... Nessie would be supportive of him, but tease him at every chance she gets after finding out that her little adopted bro has got himself a bf... Gregory would roll his eyes and grumble at her teasing, but he knows deep down it's just the big sister thing to do, tho he'd get her back with a prank for teasing or just pull the "at least i have one. you still don't" card (it's just their harmless sibling bickering, but they get a new card added to their deck, lol)

Now, they both are not open about it in school or anywhere, so having two safe spaces is really nice for the two (later on when they come out to Tony's family)

Freddy supports his bear cub and is proud that he has found someone. He would be the opposite of Nessie and actually embarrass him, which Gregory wouldn't enjoy, and definitely would groan at, but he cannot hate him, he is just the lovable papa bear (even if just a head, but still)

Now, since Gregory has no experience, he turns to the one person he trusts who has had some sort of idea what dating is, what to do ect. and that is none other than his big sister. Of course she will be like "go and try figuring it out on your own first, then come to me if you need help" but she just softens up, once he does a puppy dog stare at her. She suggest him on some possible date ideas, nothing that big, unless there's a more notable decision needed to be made... but all in all, she wants the boy to just try and 'swim in water' before asking for a 'floaty'

At first neither Tony nor Vanessa are really fond of each other. They both have guards up around each other, but only play along because of Gregory. Though after a while, there's a click and they get along, maybe even help comfort some of their trauma... as they both have suffered in the past (nessie suffering an abusive childhood and loss of a mother as well as the whole glitchtrap thing, while tony on the other hand has suffered a loss of a father for like the most of his life [i do believe mr. becker is framed and would end up being released after a few years, when the actual culprit resurfaces due to the company loosing money still...] and almost getting ended off by the blonde [yes, i do kinda entertain the possibility of vanny being the one to almost murder tony]). Freddy would be swirling his ears seeing them get comfy around each other, because if anything, he hates when his close ones cannot meet eye to eye

The papa bear himself would be all fine and dandy with Tony from the very beginning. The animatronic rarely has any conflicts with anyone, plus the bear loves being around kids, no matter the age- it's in his very coding and what he was built for; to entertain children of all ages :3

At the start, beckory would just come over to Greg's place after school and just hang out, maybe just do homework together or talk the latest gossip in school, which of course Tony would be trying to incorporate into a piece of his writing... But over time it evolves into them just cuddling up on the sofa watching a film while Nessie sits in the comfy armchair, she loves and has worn-down over the amount of times she's used it, Freddy just sits perched up on the table besides them all, which has a neat cosy pillow just for the bear's head to rest on

Vanessa seeing how the boys are progressively getting more and more closer, and she is a-okay with Tony after walking on nails, the blonde would oftenly ask Greg to bring over his bf for dinner... so they could all be together, but also because Tony is the only other person who appreciates her spring rolls ^^ (yeah, ness can be that kind of cheeky if she wants, hihi)

There would be moments in which the teens would have fallen asleep, resting each others' heads against each other for support, and Vanessa would chuckle at the sight, but not interrupting them... (unless she wanted to get back at the lil' menace for eating her favourite yogurt or just emptying the cereal box and putting it back in for her to take and be disappointed by)

Okay, so... I kinda felt like writing a little scene where Evan has a sweet small interaction with Vanessa

Info on the setting. 3 starfam are living together, and Evan is resurected at some point and they took him in, as a found brother

There's a sound of cluttering coming from the kitchen. It seemed that someone was hard at work looking for something. The blonde woman came into the kitchen from the room next door, and looked around trying to find the source of the racket. After scanning over the room, her gaze fell upon the ginger haired boy, who had seemingly tried to reach the top shelf of the refrigerator.

"Hey, need any help, little man?" She said, with a slight smirk. The boy looked over at her and got off the make shift step stool, he'd put together from some sturdy cardboard boxes. He shyly twiddled his thumbs, not looking at her eyes, while now standing infront of her.

"Can you please help me, Nessie?" He said, feeling emberrassed for asking her to help. The woman gave a ruffle of his fluffly orange hair.

"What's up?" As she asked, the young 13 year old teen pointed his hand at a plate of a slice of last night's cake. Vanessa just shooks her head, with amusement, as if it was not obvious what kid had wanted. She easily grabs to plate and hands it to the ginger haired boy, who's eyes light up like a festive tree with joy.

"Thanks a lot, Nessie."

"No problem. Just, ask me next time, okay?" The boy then looked at her, moving his eyes away from the cake.

"I didn't want to bother you. I wanted to try and do it on my own... but I'm too short to do it." He said, his previous facial expression replaced with a frown. The woman put a comforting hand on his shoulder.

"Hey, it's okay. You'll grow taller as you get older. Don't feel down about your height. You do remember Gregory is slightly shorter than you. Or did you forget that?" That seemingly made him smile, because he let out a giggle, as he nodded.

So... I've been thinking of Vanessa and Evan dynamic in some fics of mine where he's part of the 3 star fam, and well... These two don't have a duo name...

Why don't we fix it? I present to you-

GoldenHeart Duo

It's a word play on the saying "heart of gold". Why exactly does this duo name fit them?

-Golden when refering to Evan is because his soul was a part of Golden Freddy. In regards to refering to Vanessa, the Golden is taken from her being "The Princess" from PQ

-Heart when Refering to Vanessa is to represent her kinder side. Same with Evan, as he is shown to be pure hearted. They both have gone through childhood trauma, and the heart usually is a simbol used to represent healing, which the two are doing...

He would make analytic posts about stuff he finds interesting, and unknowing to him, the few followers he has are actually his irl known people

I know Gregory and Ellis could mess with him a bit under their respective pseuds

Cassie on the other hand would give him some possitive love

I see Vanessa giving him a like, even if he has a post with just a whole bar of text, which no one gets and she'd play along, even tho, she fully gets what Tony has written, and pays him respect
