Justice league unlimited Vigilante and Peacemaker Vigilante
"Peacemaker.... What a joke"
Even though the peacemaker show was a bit too vulgar for me, the music used was SOO good! Vigilante is the top character of all time
This might be too niche, but Greg Saunders? Me and the other fan of him will go crazy over him.
Bro are you kidding me, I love Greg, I’m an all star squadron fan.
But hope you appreciate these.

hello niche ship community
Green Arrow: I've got a new game. It's called Motorcycle or Vig. I give you real things I've heard Vig say and you have to tell me if he was talking to his motorcycle or his boyfriend.
Shining Knight:….
Vigilante: I don't think I like this game.
You have any favorite songs about superheroes?
I DO actually. It comes from the utterly DELIGHTFUL cartoon Batman: The Brave and the Bold
There have been a few "True Crime" superhero shows of one kind or another, using details of real battles and real cases to make dramatizations of the lives of our favorite superheroes. Some of them play it more close to the bone than others, some of them REALLY do not but my favorite of all of them is Brave and the Bold because instead of trying to use the "Based on a True Story" card to add gravitas or pedigree to the show they went "What if we find all the weirdest, dumbest case files with Batman's name on them and put them to television?" and so they did. Of course a lot of the details on cases are switches, mashed or otherwise altered. Sometimes to fill in details that aren't public record, sometimes just for dramatic convenience but every single episode of the show is based on a real case file. The show's episodes would begin with these little cold opens where Batman and a different tag partner than the one from the main episode would do something cool, something to hype kids up for the credits. This being no exception. And the way they went about it is even cooler. While "The Ballad of the Batman" is SUNG by voice actor John DiMaggio of Futurama and Adventure Time fame the song was WRITTEN by Greg Saunders himself who also played guitar on the track. Evidently this song had been something of a writing exercise for Saunders for a long time, even back to the war days he would write these melodious odes to his fellow superheroes to help loosen his hand while stuck on a song he meant for actual release. I've seen entire notebooks of them left here at the museum (truly they are not the man's best work but they were never meant to actually be PLAYED so yknow). He was approached by the show to do a voice cameo but declined because he didn't feel like he had the right skill for it (ignoring his little prank with the Vigilante serial he never considered himself much of an actor). But DID offer to dust off this one, clean it up into a real song and have it performed for the show! Saunders joked that due to the realities of modern broadcast television, this song is probably the one from his discography that was the most widely heard. And looking at his Spotify stats he is NOT wrong.
