is the debut album by band Leatherwolf. the album also known as Leatherwolf .
The band formed in 1981. The group is also nicknamed the 'Triple Axe Attack' for pioneering the use of a 3-guitar line-up in heavy metal.
The album is a classic American metal release, and is one of my absolute favorite `80s metal albums. The band had perfected their unique sound (a triple axe attack and powerful vocals from Michael Oliveri) The songs are hard hitting, but are also quite melodic. There's a great mid-80s sense of energy and drama on this album that I totally dig. Listing standout tracks is almost pointless, since nearly every song on this album is awesome.
