LUFFY WILL HAVE GOL D. ROGER’S DISEASE

In One Piece, there’s one thing that always bothers and intruges us. And that is Gol D. Roger’s disease. The incurable disease. And juding by that fact that EVERYONE in the One Piece universe compares Luffy to Gol D. Roger, (He also wants to be the Pirate King but let’s leave that) I’m guessing that Luffy will end up getting the same disease that the Pirate King had.

BUT He will be cured.

We have proof of that because Oda Sensei never ever draws to simply cover panels. Every dialogue has depth. Which takes us to Picture no1. The scene in which Chopper is begging Kuhera to teach him to become a doctor after Dr.hulihuk’s death. He himself says that he will cure any disease and Dr. Kuhera is one of the few people who actually knew Gol D. Roger in the OP universe.

Picture no2. Shows Cora-san telling Law that with a certain amount of medical knowledge and the Ope Ope nomi, he’ll be able to cure any disease. (the ope-ope nomi’s power is testified in picture no.3 by X Drake’s Dad)

Now the common factor is that both of them, Law [my BAE] and Chopper [my baby] are affiliated with Monkey D. Luffy. Law being the Strawhat’s first ally. And Chopper being the ships doctor. I’m pretty certain that their relation can NOT be a coincidence.

Alright I really hate having to do this because I like to keep my blog relatively personal -free, but lately, we’ve been having a bit of trouble with these two honkers who decide it’s SUPER NEAT to steal our ocs.

Pardon for the gore. I had to find fully coloured images of these ocs in their recent days. We’ve had these two ocs for a number of years. I know I’ve had cupcake for 5+ years and she has always taken a lot of work and yadda yadda roleplay experiences and effort and all that. Dan has been one of the more real/believable characters I’ve seen where it FEELS like a real person instead of some charade of a character.

You all have seen them, I’ve been posting pictures and drawings and illustrations and roleplay screenshots for years. @spinewire has their own shit too concerning Dan. They’re very dear to us and important and they’re wonderful fun.

To take someones oc design and duplicate it and call it your own is not cool. It straight up is, and there is no room for denying. If you try to wiggle your thumb around to MAKE ROOM, boy you’re reaching so hard.

And to ASSUME “boring and bland het” is BOY oh wait, its ASSUMING. I really hate, as well, getting to open up these characters for everyone to see instead of just taking the time to get to know them, but hey whatever.

I'm here truly by accident.

Today I had meant to head out to find a cat cafe described to me by one of my students. The address I was given, 15 Nguyen Cong Tru, didn't make sense, so I kept heading up the street. I figured I'd get back onto a street I knew and head into the city centre from there. Instead, my road popped out onto Ho Sen Lake, an area of Haiphong I've been meaning to explore. A circle around the lake brought me here, to Green Bit.

On the outside, I'm reminded of a hipster type bar, with lots of plants and a second level terrace. Inside, it feels like an English fisherman's cottage. The walls are white and brown wooden beams run along the ceiling.

"Where are you from?" the waiter asks me after I order a coconut coffee. I tell him I'm from Australia, and he just smiles. As I sit down, Somebody That I Used To Know begins playing. He shoots me a cheeky grin.

There's only three other people in here, but it is 3pm on a Tuesday afternoon. There's a couple sitting at a window seat, and a younger man across the cafe. He reeks of weed. I know this because, for whatever reason, he decides to sit next to me.

"Hello tay," he says. "What's your name?”

My name is Piss Off. "Kate," I say.

"Where you from?”

Where you not listening earlier, mate? "England," I say, in my best Australian accent. Eyyynglaaahhhn.

"Do you have husband?”

I hold up my hand, thanking my decision to wear jewellery today. It's a cheap silver ring. "Yes. His name is William." His brother's is Harry. His grandmother is Queen Elizabeth. Piss off.

"Oh." He doesn't look deterred. "Do you have boyfriend?”

It's at this point I get ready to level my crude Vietnamese swears at this man. It's also at this point that my coffee arrives.

My coconut coffee is nothing special. That's often the way it is in Vietnam. It's all good, not great. Don't stand out.
