Mega Quercus has undergone something of a renaissance lately. Originally it pioneered terrain ablities but once the 7th gen made them canon I decided I was too cool for school and decided to do something else. After a couple of changes i’ve settled on Rose Garden, which was unique to my Auzz grass starter’s Mega. It’s stats were re-kajiggered so it didn’t suck as much and now, finally, the redesign it always deserved. The first draft gave it arms, something that never sat right with me since armlessness was such a distinguishing part of its base design. The accidental courtier vibe was something I decided to focus on, and has given the redesign some much needed flair. Greeni scamper around the lush and verdant areas of Bretlan and are particularly drawn to large estate gardens where they can hide among the shrubbery. Not at all shy but seldom seen, they greatly enjoy party games and mischief. These pokemon go dormant in the winter when the cold weather can damage their leaves but emerge with full vigour in the spring; happy, dancing and ready to spread merriment. Quercus are less inclined to hide than Greeni but do enjoy jumping out of hedges and shrubs to startle passerbys, only to run off and hide again, sniggering the whole time. Quercus are often asked to perform in ceremonies that usher in the new spring season and they enjoy the opportunity to engage in the merriment and revel in their status as the guest of honour; sometimes accompanied by a parade of many other Quercus and Greeni. Mega Quercus is a handful to say the least. Always merry and energetic they dance about the battlefield, sowing disarray and saplings all the while. Exceedingly nimble and quite strong willed, they are difficult opponents that encircle their adversary with tricky movements before revealing their cunning plan; trapping them in a dense tangle of vegetation and overwhelming the foe with dangerous greenery. --Ability Index-- --Attack Index--
