The band formed in Houston Texas in 1969 and consisted of Billy Gibbons ( vocals, guitar ) , Frank Beard ( drummer ) , Dusty Hill ( vocals, bassist ) .

The Verve :

The band was originally formed in Wigan back in ( 1990 ) by lead vocalist Richard Ashcroft, guitarist Nick McCabe, bass guitarist simon Jones and drummer Peter Salisbury.

I always thought they were a great band and they did some fantastic songs. I've added a couple of tracks by the Verve along with two solo songs by Richard Ashcroft. The band split in 1999 after internal disputes although they have done a few reunion gigs .
