Random thought but I feel like Ponyboy would want to name his kids something unique but simple. He doesn't want to put his kids through what he had to go through whenever anybody asked "what's your name?" I could see him picking a name from a book tbh. Like in the TV show he gave a girl the nickname Scout because she reminded him of Scout from To Kill a Mockingbird.
