—> he most likely trys his best to understand you when you talk, and also tries to help you finish your sentences when you look like your going to cry from embarrassment and just go quiet leaving it said.

—> so because of this, when you started first helping him, even with the littlest things he was straight up confused, so confused he questioned you about your own actions; despite the both of you dating he felt a tiny bit challenged by your doings, but it quickly leaves his mind when your trying to answer but fumbling your words— google how do i tell my boyfriend i love him so i want to help him in every possible way? that pretty much gave him the answer he expected.

—> i think since jamil has technically spent his whole life being responsible over kalim to the point where he doesn’t believe people should or would bother with him specifically i mean people also believe that jamil is responsible enough to look after himself.

—> but once he realises your not very good at expressing how you feel specifically about him and you, or anything he does— pretty much any lovey dovey stuff just doesn’t come out of your mouth right, with your own chosen words.

—> he reminds you that it’s ok, and he already knows you love him considering with the fact that he appears to be finding post it notes in his own textbooks, bedroom and heck his clothes which are folded already; he doesn’t even remember folding them.

—> i don’t think he would judge you at all for how you are, it’s much better different from kalims personality that’s most likely why Jamil got on with you almost immediately.

—> this may be a strange take, but i think leonas love language may also be giving gifts, definitely not acts of service, but giving you gifts. his gifts to you are expensive and something you have also brought up before, it’s just his way of saying ‘i hear ya’.

—> honestly i don’t think he would really care to much about the acts of service, he has ruggie after all, but he does give you a look when your doing something for him it’s more of a ‘you don’t have to do that’ look rather then a judgemental one, he doesn’t want his partner doing things which ruggie could do.

—> that being said he catches on to your gestures through out the day involving him or something he asked someone else to do more quickly then he does with the presents you have left.

—> i think it takes him an awkwardly long time while to realise that you are doing it from your own free will and it’s to show you love him.

—> you leave him very specific little gifts, stuff he has mentioned maybe once in his life to you and you leave it in places he usually is with just a post it note with your initials and a ‘<3’ even if you don’t add your initials he instantly knows it’s you.

—> i feel like he feels strange when you leave gifts for him, he’s been second near enough his whole life but your doing all this just for him? he just can’t comprehend if there’s a REAL reason for your actions, but surely enough he catches on that it’s way of making it up to him about how silly you sound when you try to talk most of the time.

—> he doesn’t say anything at first, doesn’t really for the need to do so, but if you bring it up to him he will mention it, as long as it’s just the both of you, “it’s cute.” his voice is quiet, extremely quiet as if he didn’t even mean to say it, yet he doesn’t take it back.

—> he is also extremely protective over every single gift you have left for him, it’s hidden somewhere in his room, he keeps them close to him though he wouldn’t exactly admit that to you, you probably figure it out though.

—> no seriously he’s almost over protective, if someone if with him when he finds the gift and says something obnoxious he isn’t going to stay quiet or whatever, he’s going to argue back. a frown on his face as he does.

—> he most definitely keeps one thing you have gave to him in his pocket, it goes everywhere with him, sometimes while he naps around nrc his hand is in that specific pocket stroking it.

—> everytime he finds the gifts you leave him he can’t held but feel pride, pride over the fact his partner does this for him or maybe pride over the fact he found it.

—> i think part of him already knows, kalim isn’t stupid he’s literally been kidnapped and suffered through god knows what, despite his suspicions much like jack he doesn’t push it, kalim just keeps up with his energetic self and only pushing you along with him while he does that.

—> he also catches on to how you react to when someone else mentions ‘home’ for you, don’t worry though he immediately swoops in and just pulls you into a hug while running away and saying he’s found something cool he wants to show you!

—> when you eventually break down, it’s just you and kalim luckily, jamil is in bed and he THOUGHT kalim was too, though despite that kalim instead called you round saying he was lonely and wanted to hear about your day.

—> in the end you are wrapped up in his arms, his smile is gone and he’s crying with you saying how you didn’t deserve any of it.

—> he probably tells Jamil in the morning about it, then goes onto say ‘don’t tell anyone!’

—> safe to say kalim feels really bad for you, after this day he’s instantly latched on to you more, because not only does he feel bad but he refuses to let you go home too, but that’s for jamil AND crowley to deal with.

—> yeah he already caught on ages ago, but he wants to hear it from you straight up, he won’t push you to speak about what you home life is like; especially as he isn’t very good at talking about his own issues and knows exactly how it feels to be pushed to your breaking point.

—> he’s suspicions instantly get confirmed when your at the beach with him, your covered, which honestly is pretty insane to him, but he is fine with it up until he sees a glimpse of some old cut on your lower abdomen.

—> “hey herbivore, is there any reason you have that?” he asks, his eyes didn’t move from where he had just seen it despite you pulling your shirt down more, his tone is surprisingly gentle for a big lion himself.

—> you don’t answer, infact you bring your arms to your chest in an attempt to shield yourself. he notices, of course he notices.

—> “shouldn’t of brought it up should i?” he doesn’t ask, he knows he shouldn’t of but he wants you to reply or at least say something.

—> after a couple minutes of awkward silence he opens his mouth again but he is struck back on the floor while you cling on to him, your tears falling as you cried.

—> you told him it all, leaving no details out, he didn’t speak, didn’t move. but his grip around you tightened as you brought up abuse from them, you said it like it was a normal occurrence in your life back at home.

—> his heart broke, he wouldn’t say that though, well usually. but when you stopped talking and just whimpered, quietly ducking your head on his chest he spoke again, “herbs, i’m so sorry.” he leaned his head down, kissing your hair as you sniffed.

—> he probably threatened crowley, saying how you would live with him once nrc is complete, even if he gets held back again your still staying with him, he doesn’t give a fuck.

—> obviously before threatening crowley he asked you if that’s what you would like or if you want too, communication is key after all atleast that’s something he heard lilia say to sebek.

—> he doesn’t tell anyone, nope, it’s just between you both, he also doesn’t bring it up again, unless of course you do which he listens every time even if it’s just you repeating stuff.

—> if someone asks when you are going back home, he just puts his arm around your shoulders making them shut up, it’s his way of letting you know you aren’t and that you will be staying with him— he doesn’t really care what answer crowley gives.

the warmth in the air is thick, the boy infront of you didn’t pull back, your hands went around his neck stroking his soft violet hair as he deepened the kiss.

the noises of pens and more stuff clattering off, filled the room for a second, before you turned your head up, your mouth agape like you were going to say something before he immediately stepped closer, filling the distance between you two.

he’s about to kiss you, his head tilted to the side as his hands went back to where they were previously, one under your chin the other snaked around your waist.

—> Ace being the worst influence ever decided to mess with Spel, “jeez no wonder [name] doesn’t even talk to you either” originally Epel never though much about how quiet you were, he figured you had some sort of selective mutism as you did talk sometimes— only really ever answering questions though.

—> i feel like since your partner he doesn’t like to be angry at all, he prefers attempting to communicate however they way Ace was talking was riling him up immediately.

—> he doesn’t head to ramshackle right after, doesn’t text or call you, you are immediately taken a back by this as he usually clings to you.

you stay quiet, obviously. though this time it isnt your usual comfortable silence. the silence is hurting, you release his wrist, and look down. kicking the floor as if to make him actually look at you without using your own words.

“sorry.” the sorry was quiet, your voice cracking ever so slightly as you said that simple, short and single word.

he is about to open his mouth to talk, he swears he is trying! but it just falls back shut as you turn and begin to walk away from him, leaving him stood in the empty hallways.

the silence in the hallway was almost mocking him, not one person even walked past him it was empty, completely soulless as if pushing him to chase you instead of most likely getting haunted for the rest of his life.

—> Epel only came to his senses and realised how bad he messed up when he was moaning about it to Jack, who looked him dead in the eyes and refused to defend him, “and you chose to hang out with Ace over them because..?” it wasn’t just Jack either, unfortunately for the boy Vil had happened to run into you crying, of course you didn’t talk to him about what happened; and Vil didn’t need you too, he wasn’t stupid after all.

—> safe to say Vil ended up knocking sense into him and even added another strict rule, “and no more talking to Ace when you have no one else to talk to, sit alone and think about how you acted.”

—> him having a nonverbal partner makes sense to me, as much as i can see him attracting someone more energetic i think having someone quiet and someone who talks only for small important things he likes.

—> well you don’t disturb his naps, even if they aren’t exactly needed at the time and can get him in trouble by sebek or even lilia.

—> i don’t think he would start an argument with you, like if he did it would have to be really serious, he normally tries his best to be patient with you.

—> say if he did have an argument with you, it would have to have been his final straw, like say it’s just you two and he’s napping while resting on you and he’s told you to wake him up if you hear his phone buzz but you completely forget.

—> like i said it would of have to have been his final straw so may this has happened more then once but he’s remained calm to you even after getting in trouble for it.

—> so this time when he wakes up to a very-surprisingly- angry lilia he is pissed, he definitely wouldn’t make as much as a big deal as Epel did.

ᯓ “you had to wake me up” he groans his voice having that very obvious and usual drowsy tone, he stands up, he is debating to scold you or just quickly rush to where he has to be, he shakes his head in disagreement with his own first option, “i told you to—.” he cut himself of pausing before swiftly turned away, “we can talk later.”

and then he ran out of ramshackle dorm, no goodbye kiss none of it, you could tell he was annoyed you just didn’t understand why, he knows about your issues within talking, and hey in your defence he looked extremely peaceful.

—> suddenly Silver is the hardest man to find, which isn’t new but usually he does come back to talk to you after some silly moment between the two of you, but this time it was different.

—> you had tried asking around for him, but you just got awkward looks, your words hadn’t come out properly like usual, you tried your best you really did.

—> meanwhile Silver is in diasomnia, looking over Malleus and Lilia as per usual, but he’s more quiet and on edge, he hasn’t even took a nap standing yet!

—> the rest of them notice, Sebek speaks up first; voice loud and laced with his usual pride. “does your mood have something to do with that human?” Silver tenses up at the mention of you, he shrugs it off staring right at sebek who gave him a look to which he then explained, Lilias eyes widened ever so slightly, Malleus sighed, and Sebek? he furrowed his brows as he glanced at Lilia then back at Silver.

—> Lilia was the next one to speak, “don’t be to angry at them! maybe they forgot, you wouldn’t know would you? you haven’t spoke to them since.” Silver felt his heart stop as his father said those last words, he hadn’t mentioned that part at all in his words. Lilia on the other hand just smirked, of course he found out.

—> safe to say he immediately went to find you, no one stopped him, no one spoke not even Sebek raised his voice again.

—> he eventually found you back at ramshackle dorm, he didn’t say anything at first even after practically breaking the door he just stared at you, you stared back. it was like a race to see who would crack first, and it wasn’t you. even while you stood there with a red face and puffy eyes.

—> he instantly got closer and pulled you into his chest, mumbling a quiet and extremely worn out, “i’m sorry baby.”

—> i don’t think he really minds that you, his beloved partner, is nonverbal, he loves you despite that and who’s to say he hasn’t met someone like you before? he’s an old man of course he has.

—> i can’t actually see Lilia and you getting in an argument, he’s not one to get that mad over something especially as he’s met thousands of people he’s been in war too, so i think much like Silver it would have to be somewhat serious in order for it to happen.

—> say you both do have some issue, he tries his best to figure out a solution immediately it shouldnt be to hard, that’s what he thinks anyway, he’s been though a whole war he must have a solution to everything.

—> but this time, he couldn’t take it anymore. lack of sleep and everything else got to him, you were only listening to him as he spoke but he cracked.

ᯓ he pauses what he was previously saying, staring at you. “are you even listening to me?—“ for once his voice cracked, he looked serious, you didn’t even reply just stared back, it felt almost like you were mocking him.

“because it really doesn’t feel like it,” he continues, his eyes never leaving yours. “we are together aren’t we?” you nod your head, “doesn’t feel like it.” he states, nothing else just those 4 words.

but he realises his mistake right after, he can sense the change in your demeanor; how you look down, avoiding him right after he says those words. he doesn’t apologise straight up, “i just— need space. i’ll be back.” he says before he heads for the door not even glancing back at you. he can’t, he knows he shouldn’t of took his mood out on you, he feels guilty.

—> once he is alone and finished with whatever it is he was doing, he gets up to and he’s instantly looking for you, which isn’t to hard when he can quite literally feel your presence from a mile away.

—> he takes his time though, he’s rehearsing what it is he needs to say, but once he finds you, he feels his throat go dry so he just stands there, suddenly he’s the mute one.

—> you just run up to him, and hug him, you realised too what you did wrong, and it was your fault. but he knows you shut down most times and that you just feel comfortable more when it’s him talking.

—> he doesn’t say anything, it’s just the both of you breathing in an empty hallway, wrapped in each others arms.

—> he swears he will control his emotions better anddd his sleeping schedule, he will make it up you he promises.

—> after that, once you have stopped he just appears beside you, that smug grin on his face as he shuts his eyes, his hands placed on his hips, “wowww~ i am amazing huh?” he does this just to see you get flustered and stroppy.

—> adding onto that i think he adores you when you get mad at him, he’s not taking any of it seriously just nodding while you are madder then ever at him, it could be worse he could be smiling straight in your face.

—> he finds enjoyment in sneaking you into RSA aswell, you don’t know it but while your laughing at the whole thing and trying to remain quiet everyone knows your there, he couldn’t keep it a secret from anyone.

—> i think he would also get really defensive about you, especially since he’s not around you as much due to the massive difference between RSA and NRC, so if anyone talks about you and he takes it the wrong way he’s heading right back over to you to complain about how pathetic that whole thing was.

—> before you knew about all the crazy things regarding the octavinelle crew you were okay with them, up until floyd attempted to squeeze you to death, leading him to get pulled back from jade who looked far to pleased.

—> obviously he finds it funny and loves to specifically point you out from your drastic hiding spots, “shrimpy.. is that you under the table?~” and to your dismay Grim immediately gives up your hiding spot, if he also isn’t hiding with you.

—> absolutely loves how quick you are to hide from him and jade when they are around you, loves making remarks about you just to see how you react when he knows your near, “shrimpy is really reallyyy~~ squeezable!”

—> he actually laughs when he corners you and you cover your eyes in an attempt to hide yourself despite it being useless, and his laugh? that does NOT ease your thoughts at all.

—> when he sees you tense up due to his laugh he actually pauses for a split second his eyes gawking you up and down, before his smug look returns; it’s cut short as azul comes over to scold floyd giving you time to run, you didn’t want to get involved with azul either..

—> if you think your safe in the cafeteria oh boy oh boy are you wrong, from jade? maybe however floyd?? not so much he will embarrass you, running away from the duo he was previously with to scare you into hiding infront of everyone.

—> he enjoys the whole thing and uses it to his advantage, ace and deuce don’t even dare to stop the whole thing, deuce tried once and saw how irritated the boy got and stepped back down.

🍄 » 𝓙𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝐥𝐞𝐞𝐜𝐡 ,

—> you had a normal view on jade, after finding out floyd’s personality you preferred jade over him— that is.. up until you hear him yap about mushrooms and how he tries to convince you to eat one, shoving it right in your face, you immediately squeak out of surprise and run away chasing after ace deuce who were laughing at the whole interaction from a distance, grim just looked major disappointed, you could of gave it to him!

—> he also finds it funny but isn’t as loud about it as floyd is, going on with this he definitely talks about you to floyd and azul as soon as they abandon your area.

—> he probably (definitely) has all your hiding spots memorised by now, he will smirk at you from where he is stood and your hiding, no matter the distance.

—> the majority of the time your safe from jade, however there are some occasions where ace tricks you into going somewhere, specifically where jade is.

—> jade could be doing anything, but once he hears your steps nearby, he’s immediately putting an end to whatever it is and acting like he wasn’t doing anything just to turn around and face you why? just because he finds it fun.

—> jade isn’t to persistent with scaring you like floyd is, jade is more.. somehow, someway.. more ‘collected’ then floyd is.

—> but what scares you the most with jade is exactly that! i mean how can you have such a different personality from your own double, you always think he’s up to something, and he is.

—> in short they both have completely different reactions to you, floyd is more interested and more likely to try and get alone with you more just for your reactions, whereas jade is who you happen to bump into by accident if it’s just him, he’s pleased by it and amused once more by your reactions he, like i said, has all your hiding spots mesmerises meanwhile floyd doesn’t care about all that, he’s merely focused on you yourself.
