care of magical souls: class concerning the care of various yōkai, yūrei, and bakemono. once common creatures in japan, muggle monster hunters and wizarding aurors have decimated the population of many of these creatures, and now the japanese wizarding government is trying to promote courses relating to the conservation of these beings

fox transfiguration: somewhat similar to metamorphmagus magic, but more temporary. taught exclusively by the kitsune professors at mahoutokoro

seal-summoning: this course teaches students to draw seals onto a variety of surfaces with their wands, in order to summon magical beings and deities for assistance

worst classes:

character arithmancy: a branch of arithmancy that channels spells and predictions through the shapes and sounds of the japanese numerical characters. depending on how you read them, the effect/result is different

omikuji writing: divination course designed to teach students how to write fortunes

elective courses:

medical alchemy: concerns alchemising potions and poultices to treat a variety of serious ailments, as well as improve one’s wellbeing and longevity

daredevil flying: if there is something japan is proud of, it is the technique and ability of all their wizards on a broom. there’s a reason why japanese quidditch is unparalleled in the world

extracurricular activities:

quidditch: this one is self-explanatory

kujira surfing: a type of surfing in which the surfer rides the waves on the back of a whale

additional duties:

quidditch captain: this one is self-explanatory

hatcher at the mahoutokoro owlery: looks after the birds, takes care of the eggs, and maintains the cleanliness and order of the owlery. a more difficult job than people expect, since the mahoutokoro owlery houses birds other than owls (such as eagles, cranes, etc.) as well

tsubakijima shrine: the school shrine, suspended over the sea. home to wild but docile deer as well as rabbits

the mahoutokoro lagoon: a black-sand lagoon where students like to relax, swim, fish, and gather shellfish. great place to watch the sunset after classes

Sort of. He’s very cocksure of himself externally, but the fact that he defers to Lilith on literally everything shows that he tends to think he’s more lost in life than he’d like to admit.

Oh hell no. He’s a damn revolutionary, his entire job is to destroy the people that conscripted him into their army.

A bit of both? He follow’s Lilith’s orders, but tends to take liberties in how he carries out those orders.

I should also point out that a bunch of Lilith’s rank and file use chains as weapons because he made that his thing and made it look damn terrifying

Seeing as how there’s no internet in his world...no.

He tends to portray himself as really cocky, which is half his actual personality and half him deliberately trying to overplay himself to other people so that they don’t take him seriously.
