he would be pretty nervous, I think

he’d definitely read as many parenting books as he can find

he’d be pretty excited to teach them magic (his own little apprentice - Reese would pretend not to be jealous)

I think he’d also be super wary of, say, Nacht finding out about the kid because he’s one of the most powerful witches in the city (and, lets face it, Avery is never going to stop getting into weird (and sometimes dangerous) situations)

I imagine they’d be more likely to adopt kids than physically have their own. I’d like to think that the kid is slightly older (neither of them want to deal with the baby stage)

I would like to think that they’d get a girl and Graves would insist on reading Poe and Shakespeare to her all the time (this child would be so well-read, you would not believe)

literally the only ‘home-cooked meal’ this child would get would be from Mason (Graves and Avery both canonically cannot cook - this child will live on takeout until Mason intercedes)

the kid would be spoiled rotten though (both by their parents and by all the cafe workers) 

Graves would be really good at helping with schoolwork and studying and words of wisdom, whereas Avery would be a lot of help with, like, making friends and expressing emotions and worries and feelings (instead of bottling them up inside and almost getting turned to rust, Graves)

but this kid would be so loved and taken care of and would be so so lucky to be surrounded by all of this love and magic whilst growing up

also, god, this kid using magic when standing up to bullies or to make a friend feel better and getting told off by their parents but them both being so so proud
