I’m so excited to learn more about witches in the cosmology of Umora. Based on what we’ve learned so far as of ep 45, my theory is that witches are the precursor to full humans. If the Spirit is the real and the real is the dream, then it makes sense for witches to be the original creatures of the material plane.
We see with Ame that she has always existed in community with spirits, and that witches can transcend normal human limitations. Hakea is over 1000 years old, Gramore possesses crazy physical abilities, and who even knows what’s up with Mirara. A witch would be the kind of human a spirit would conjure up.
Gramore was going to play a joke on Ame and lick her nose, and appreciated the compliment
Honestly I feel like Ame trying to do things Wren style is what made Gramore so pissy, and if she met like real chaos goblin Ame I feel like she might be more inclined
Like remember this is the kid who had “be kind” written on the wall, and when she was little she thought the wild hunt sounded the coolest
