Graflex RB Series D 4x5 Single Lens Reflex camera
This copy from 1931 (based on the serial number) has a Series B name and timing plate for some reason, but it has the correct focusing assembly and lens board for a Series D camera.
This specific camera came from an estate collection with more than one hundred other cameras (most of which are cheap consumer plastic cameras and box cameras). The lens iris was frozen, but I was able to disassemble, clean, and reassemble the lens.
The focal plane shutter works pretty well, but definitely needs to be serviced and lubricated. The higher tension settings are very tough to set, and I wouldn't be surprised if all the old grease is hardened up inside. I've found some instructions online, so I may eventually give servicing a shot myself (I have a similar focal plane shutter from a Speed Graphic to practice on).
