🎶 'They can bomb Shchastia (town called 'Happiness'),
They can shoot away Mriia (plane called 'Dream'),
But they will not be able to kill our freedom,
Everyone will reap what they sow!'
This song by the Ukrainian singer @thejerryheil was not a random choice of high school graduates from Kharkiv, who used it as an accompaniment for their waltz.
In our tradition, the graduating classes waltz in front of the entire school, at last, to say goodbye 👋 to their classmates and teachers.
👨🎓 Despite the fact that their school and usual lives are ruined, teens celebrate life and try to recreate this very well-known atmosphere. Only 1/3 of the students gathered for this occasion — others could not return to Kharkiv yet. Meanwhile, the city is still fighting under the Russian shellings.
