Facerange message ➳ Grace
Zig: Wanna rob a bank?
~ gracesaway ~
Mouth agape, perfectly stunned, Katie maintained her gaze on the vacant side of her room. Everything Grace said had caught her by complete surprise; however, what shocked her most was that she was now there. "You're what?!" The words came out harsher than intended, but nevertheless, she grabbed a light coat before storming out of her dorm room. "What are you even...?" Hearing her name from other students, she simply ignored them. Before long she was outside in the cold, standing face to face with the younger girl. Only then did she end the call.
"You're here..."

Zigster: Okay. I'm in.
Zigster: We'll have to negotiate on the hair though.

Katie: Any chance I'll see you soon? Or am I to take from your silence that you need more time?
trade all my tomorrows
Katie: wasn't equipped with the proper skills, not of those pertaining to being out of her element. The raven haired girl always held things just beneath her thumb. Her grasp on controlling everything was unnerving to most of peers. Some of the adults around had found it to be unsettling as well. However, to her it was just a normal run of the mill. Questions were often asked, and judgment was passed, but this was plainly how things were. The normality of it all was felt dearly. Going to Stanford had been a dream of hers. For as long as she could remember, she'd always known she'd attend university there. While most young girls were playing with barbies, she was scanning college brochures. Order was always lurking around any corner for her, and chaos wasn't something even conjured. On the rare occasions she'd lost her way, her power was found to be hanging in the balance. It was never too far from her, a straight face went a long way for her. No one was ever the wiser. This had been the case until she'd come into contact with Grace. The girl had challenged her in situations that most hadn't even dreamed of nor had the courage to do. Initially, it was nothing more than a relationship between a counselor and her camper. Bright hair and all, she had driven Katie insane. Her authority was constantly questioned. Power slipped from her with every day the two shared until day the aggravation shifted into respect and intrigued. From that point on, the rest was history. Katie knew without any doubt whatsoever that she wanted Grace in her life in some way. It wasn't until the following year that things escalated. Not a moment shared was regretted, not aside from walking away. There was no question in her mind, she loved Grace. That love was the one the thing she had no control over, and she hated it. In part that made her despise the other teenager as well. The emotions were push and pull; and yet, she'd thought their chapter was done. Once she left her with as so much as a goodbye, she supposed that was the end of their tale, but there was no finality. Secretly Katie prayed there never would be. That was precisely why she'd stared at her white knuckles, the very same ones tightly wound against her steering wheel. Just within her view stood the girl that captivated her thoughts constantly. After trial and error, she realized she always knew where to find her. This was their beginning, their everything. Caution was flung at the wind, actions did speak louder. Grace had been right all along, but Katie's pride wouldn't allow that. Abruptly, she maneuvered out of the car. Her heart thrashed incessantly against her chest with each step. Each broken twig beneath her feet frightened her. Still she could turn around, leave. False hope wouldn't be given, not that she intended to offer that. No harm would be done, but she didn't stop. She wasn't a coward. At least, she'd like to think she was no longer. Upon reaching the girl's silhouette, she said something. A lump formed in her throat, and a tear threatened to fall. This was love, but this was also hate. For whom that was directed at now, she didn't know. Brazenly, she took hold of her arm twirling her around. Words wanted their freedom; however, as the time came none were willing to let go. Her actions would have to speak enough for her. “I love you,” she wanted to say, but she didn't. She couldn't. Instead she'd show just how much she did, how much she wanted her, with her lips. Unlike times past there was no rush as her lips met their unforgotten counterpart. Before this every kiss had been compared to theirs. No one was good enough, no one would be. The real thing was much better than she'd imagined. When she finally pulled back, a timid grin formed. She had to stop herself from reaching to touch her mouth in fear that this was once more just a dream.
