You’re welcome my dear. I’m sorry that I post this late. I hope you enjoy this!
When you first met Mark Tuan, he was really quiet. Youngjae, your assignment mate brought you to a coffee hangout with his friends and you almost don’t know that he existed until Jaebum tossed him a fork and he cursed out of surprise. Jackson kept saying that he has been like that since he was born while Mark just insisted that he was keeping the conversation minimum because he doesn’t know what to say.
His groups of friend however, will always be the honour to witness such a huge reaction from Mark. Sometimes when he feels he is in the mood, he will smile more often, laughing at Bambam’s joke but always refrain himself from reacting too much.
That was all until he met you.
See, you always tend to be the quiet ones. Like Mark, you just don’t know how to keep the conversation going. Jackson and Yugyeom has long given up trying to involve you in their talk but you just don’t know how to blend in. At last, they left you to talk to Mark.
It was always the coffee and the story behind it.
Mark has changed after he started talking to you, his personality is no more the quiet scary one. He became bubbly and worst, borderline Jackson and Yugyeom. Which is now taking a toll on you.
He giggles, holding your 6 months old daughter in the baby carrier who is also smiling and giggling, probably affected by her father’s mood.
“I said, we are going for a holiday!”
You sigh in exasperation. Why of all day, he chooses today? You are extremely tired and all you want is to sleep and rest for the whole weekend. “Whyy!!??”
Mark steps forward, reaching for your forehead and plants you a kiss. Your daughter grabs your necklace and starts tugging on it playfully. “Come on baby. You need a vacation. Stop overworking.”
“Also!” he grins, carefully shakes his daughter’s hand off your necklace and walk back to your room, only to come out with two large and one small luggage in his hand. “I’ve already packed yours!”
Your mouth opens to ask but he quickly cut you off. “Yes, hers too. We have to catch the flight in..” he peeks at his watch, calculating the time. “two hours!”
Really, you love him with all you might but you cannot afford a vacation at this moment.
“Come baby. I didn’t let you work just to see you overworking.” He persuades. “Me alone can afford our whole family. The only reason I let you was because you wanted to.”
“As long as I am alive, I am obligated to provide you not only with money, but also comfort and happiness.” He smiles, cupping your cheeks lovingly before pressing a kiss again.
“And that is why, I planned this trip.”
You blink, do not quite grasping the meaning behind it.
“Happy anniversary, baby.”
Then it rushes to you. The moment you both at the altar and the calendar showed today’s date, your own brain breakdown. Your hands are on your waist, head hanging low. You cannot believe that you forgot your own anniversary. “God, you’re so unbelievable.” You shake your head. “Why did I marry you?”
Mark beams, still giggling as bright as a sunshine. He closes the gap between you, engulfing you into a hug with your daughter eyeing both of you curiously. “Well, it took a lot of convincing.”
“I love you.” You mutter.
“Oh trust me baby. I love you even more.”
Send me an idol and a number and I’ll write you a drabble!
