New Google AI Can Have Real Life Conversations With Strangers

The company also introduced Gemini 3.5 Flash as a faster default model for many Gemini experiences, while continuing to move Search, Android, Workspace, and YouTube deeper into AI-driven features. Spark is being positioned less like a chatbot and more like a long-running assistant that can manage workflows over time.

Omni seems aimed directly at the growing AI video race. Google says it can generate short clips with audio and remix existing media through conversational prompts, with plans to expand those capabilities further. The tool is rolling out across the Gemini app and other Google products.
