Going to the dentist like “I hope I get a good grade in oral hygiene...”

Ngl I hate the "I am going to get a good grade in xyz, a thing that is both normal to want and possible to achieve" meme so much because it's pathologizing one of the most basic human feelings of all time. Yeah most people want a good grade at things that are not graded because that is called "being good" at it.

had dentist appt today. both my oral hygienist and my dentist said i had beautiful teeth which means i got a good grade at the dentist which is a perfectly normal thing to want 😁

BTW tumblr friend said that "i fit well onto tumblr" so i AM in fact getting a good grade in tumblr!

everybody’s out here asking ‘plz reblog to increase the sample size’ and ‘make sure you reblog to collect more data’ like we’re all here at tumblr university and getting a good grade in ‘polls’ is both normal to want and possible to achieve.
