Writing my master thesis with Zotero and Word opened side by side without any use of Ai like academia is intended
My executive function is not functioning guys and I have like 4 days left to wrap up my thesis, I'm anxious as hell ngl, if it were for me I'd extend it another year but my parents would throw a dann fit because they simply won't understand why I've been unable to wrap it up in nearly a monthπ₯²
I'm doomed, but here's to hoping it turns out okay
Truly, I always knew I couldn't keep outrunning the effects of burnout forever and they'd catch up to me, but they could have waited until August at least Oβ _β o
So, I have 2 hours before lunch to work on my thesis and then knowing my family I won't have time to work before 223 comes out, my sisters have padel lessons at like 7pm, and I do need to shower, which is going to take a chunk of my time, hopefully my father will stay behind to watch them so I can go back home and make use of the roughly 45 minutes I have before I go pick them up and we go take a walk, and then I guess I'll be able to work some more until 12am if my brain complies.
I used to be able to grab lunch and eat in my room back when I worked on previous thesis, so I could optimise my time, but turns out my parents are not having that this year and on top of that I have to clean the entire kitchen after lunch by myself (5 people + pots and pans) which takes a fair chunk of time.
I'm actually working on my thesis this morning! Insane, I know, there's a lot of distractions but I managed to break the block I had and I've written a full page so far!
