What was the last book you read?

a wizard of earthsea by ursula k le guin!! I used to read constantly but I got so so out of it and barely have the attention span for it anymore, but last month on vacation it just HIT me again and I cranked out almost the whole book in a week!!! it was so nice and I want to maintain the momentum and read book 2 but no luck so far

I broke my ankle when I was a toddler, don’t have any memory of it tho. otherwise it’d probably be that time my foot got stuck in a moving escalator

honestly? no not really. like maybe I’ll decide to cut someone off if it seems like I’ll get hurt again otherwise or if they really deserve it, but my anger fades pretty fast usually

A remedy for detachment, a love turned sour. From stagnant love that has traversed lifetimes and forgotten its source. it is time to nip this in the bud and return to the true source (love).

[My findings thus far on love (and its romances + beyond]

Love does not have to be physically engaged to be present or real and true. I have found love that grows fonder, deeper and different in physical absence. this is not to be mistaken for taking someone for granted, but instead to be working on a painting for so long that it becomes lost, and the need to take space and return to see it at a distance, in its wholeness (entirety).

That is a true beauty. Where two oversouls talk, in distance, undistracted by physical existence.

I've learned that Love does not fade, it only changes and transforms; that old love can sour and turn into an overabundance of attachment and forget itself. May we return to the source again in love.
