"Uh...."
How long had the woman been stood there, Leon certainly had no idea. But it had been a bit of a boring day at the shop and the energy ball needed to get some energy out, so while the games shop had been quiet and Sora had gone on lunch run for them.
Well he might have been having some fun with some of his cards, using his air magic to have them dance around and move, totally not voicing the characters upon them as he acted out scenarios like a child might with dolls.
It was the moment he heard the voice that they dropped to the floor around him and he might have just about caught one that was falling near him, just.
He cleared his throat and well lightly dusted pink on his cheeks as he fidgeted with his beanie, making sure it was covering the points of his ears.
"Nothing...Nothing was happening, nothing out of the ordinary! Welcome to the store, ca-can I help you with anything?!"
He can already hear Sora and his older brothers giving him a hard time about this, it was one thing that his brothers at the very least told him to be careful with, it wasn't normal in this world as far as they knew it wasn't openly used or shown to have magic.
Alura wasn’t new to magic- she was a wielder as well. She often spent her time in small towns helping people who needed it. It wasn’t as if she hid her abilities- she was just never close enough to anyone to fully reveal them. Traveling from town to town- she never stayed long enough for anyone to really get to know her. The embodiment of light was that of just a rumor- few and far between had seen what she was capable of and lived to tell the tails. Most of the people were no longer around. Dead. A tragic accident caused by yours truly. She’d carry that weight with her and avoid people in fear of what they’d do if they found out- if they saw her scar(s).
Walking into the shop- Alura entered purely out of curiosity. She’d never been here before so sight seeing didn’t seem like a bad idea. She had no commitments or previous obligations to take care of today so she’d figured she’d explore before she continued along her journey. Walking in, her eyes stared at the man- watching in awe. She could just barely sense the magic he held from where she was standing- more so intrigued by the child-like nature behind his behavior.
The nervousness could be seen on his expression- his quick denial and fidgeting to fix his beanie. She was observant and not one that was too quick to trust others- still, Alura was kind and she didn’t sense any evil behind the person before her. A small smile played on her lips and her eyes filled with amusement. “Oh no, I’m just sight seeing. I’ve never been in here before.” He already seemed nervous, she didn’t want him to be pressured more or made uncomfortable. But she did, in fact see him.
Alura reached for one of the cards holding it between her middle and pointer finger. A subtle action hinting at the fact of what she just witnessed. She waited, wanting to see his reaction. Just like she had said before- he doesn’t owe anyone an explanation. Curiosity could be seen behind her eyes. They were a beautiful green with flakes of gold that almost seemed to glow- like a trick of the lighting. “So what’s this one’s name?” She questioned. She was teasing at the fact that he was playing with the cards like dolls. Maybe he had a name for the ones he was playing? There was a hint of fun, teasing and kindness behind her demeanor. She was curious but she wouldn’t flat out ask- not wanting to overstep boundaries about the magic he was using.
