"I do appreciate it. The young master has quite a way with words when it comes to his scoldings." Nothing that the demon couldn't handle, but he couldn't deny that a part of him was impressed at how good the boy was at it for being so young.

There was a brief moment where surprise seemed to flash through his eyes at the concept of having people who would support him. It wasn't something he had ever considered - not when he knew what he was, but there was a point. After all, most of the people that encountered him didn't know him as a demon, only as a devoted butler. What an interesting concept that he could perhaps have a chance for a different type of life, but he also knew that the young Phantomhive would never let that go so easily unless it served his ultimate goal. Not that the demon could blame him.

"I shall do my best to take care of myself as long as you do the same~" Was there a bit of an actual interest from the butler for her to take care of herself? Perhaps moreso than he himself realized.

"Didn't think she'd--!" Okay, he was reaching up to gently clap his hands on both of Haru's cheeks and rub them in a way that was both playful and meant to scold.

"Haruuuuuu! You're her favorite--cept Hiro, but that's different! Of course she noticed!" And of course, he wasn't bringing attention to the fact that he in fact, had also been absolutely terrified. He always was when Haru disappeared.

Haru's expression remained the same as Momiji playfully scolded him. Scoldings were nothing that the ox wasn't used to and he couldn't really mind it from Momiji since he knew that it came from a place of concern. Of course, it really should have occurred to him earlier that others would have been worried about him for disappearing. Thinking about consequences simply wasn't something that came naturally to him.

"I guess so..." That did seem to make him understand better, especially since he remembered how sad she had been when Hiro acted distant from her. Hurting those he cared about was never his intention.

"I appreciate it. I'm here for you too." Being there for his friends was one of the things that Yasu always tried to do. Perhaps part of it had to do with some of the loneliness from his time at the orphanage and knowing what it was like to feel like you had no one and not wanting anyone to feel like that. "Being there is more than a lot of people do. Never underestimate the value of that."

An understanding nod came from the man, "I'm glad that you like it. It makes life more bearable when you like your work." At her question, he pulled out his cellphone from his pocket to doublecheck when Blast's next show was. "Looks like it's the 21st... I'd like you to come too." While he couldn't chat while on stage, he could definitely hang out afterwards.
