" Aren't you too old to act like this? " Hiro says, clearly annoyed with the other. There's really no reason to be irritated but the fact that Haru is behaving in such a way to get a rise out of him is what ticks him off. " Act your age or no one will ever take you seriously. "

"No." The ox's face remained completely serious. Was he being immature? Yes, but at least he was aware of it. Besides, he simply saw it as trolling Hiro at this point.

"I don't need to be taken seriously." Besides, Haru was aware that he often wasn't taken seriously anyways. It had been common enough of an occurrence that it didn't bother him much anymore. After all, why should he have to impress anyone else anyways?

He gave an attempt at a kind smile--Pokemon usually seemed to understand his intentions, although he was far more awkward with other humans--sadly. He often came across as awkward.

"I appreciate that very much, thank you." His smile widened a little and he turned to speak with the purring Pokemon on his shoulder.

"I know you're not a fan of water, so you should stay with Reshiram."

She looked very displeased, her tail lashing back and forth. N pet between her ears and she seemed to calm before finally jumping down to run over to Reshiram.

N then turned back to Quagsire.

"I believe you~" The Pokemon felt that he was a good judge of character and he didn't sense any malice from this human. If any other Pokemon at the lake would give any trouble than he would vouch for him.

"I'll take you there." He wasn't the quickest Pokemon, so it wouldn't be the quickest stroll, but it would ensure that one wouldn't get lost. With that, Quagsire began walking towards the west, not really looking to see if the other could keep up since he knew his pace was pretty slow.

"Some are more wonderful than others." A small pause before he continued, "Shigure and Ayame can be a bit tiring if you're around them too long." A bit of a tease towards his closest friends, although his expression did little to reveal if he was joking. "They would be the lucky ones to consider you a friend." While he didn't comment on the wonderful part towards himself, there was a bit of a pink tinge to his cheeks.
