A blink and a slight tint of pink to his cheeks that very few had ever witnessed. He cleared his throat and gave a bit of an embarrassed smile.

"Is it? Well, I...can't say it doesn't make me happy to hear you say it, but I fear I'd come across as arrogant if I agreed with you..." Jiraya would lecture him if he did that, wouldn't he? He didn't like disappointing Jiraya, even the man did drive him up the wall sometimes with his teasing.

"Also...I've had far more time to observe you both than most...although...." His eyes darkened a little and he let out a soft sigh. "....Admittedly still less than I would like."

He was quiet for a moment, contemplative as he cleaned, before finally asking a thought he'd had on his mind for a long time.

Now Kushina's cheeks were turning pink. While it wasn't rare for Minato to be sweet, it never failed to fluster the woman. His words were always so much kinder than those that the Fox within her spoke. She could only imagine how hard it was for him though to balance all his duties. So many people needed him and he had to be spread so thin.

There was a hint of amusement in the man's voice, although there were times that it was getting pretty annoying having the nephilim doing that flossing thing around the bunker. At the same time, it was always nice seeing kids actually get to do kids things - part of why he liked being a hunter was to try to let more kids have that luxury.

"I never really got into gaming." Mostly because he never had a game system before. Maybe it was about time to get one to have at the bunker - no need for Jack to be deprived after all. "I used to watch all those morning cartoons while eating breakfast, but that's not much of a thing anymore." Not like he couldn't use streaming to do so, but things were definitely different from when he was younger.

"It won't matter, they'd find something to pick on if we didn't." Well, he's sure they did with him whenever they got the chance. He's unsure if they go after Mystery at all really. Maybe him saying that is confirmation? Maybe not, maybe it was just a warning?

Whatever the case, he's sure the pink duo will come with the teasing at some point.

"Hmm, I can see it." If past lives are a thing. He's unsure if it is or not, but it's a funny thought. His hair style does remind Baby of a shaggy dog in a way so he can easily visualize that.

He wasn't the target of their teasing as much as Baby was (at least in his opinion) so he would trust the other's judgment on that.
