Zelda was always so determined to leave him in the dust. Why did she have to be so stubborn? If she had a problem with him protecting her then she should bring it up with the king instead of blaming him. He was only doing as he was told, like any loyal knight should. Link allowed the mask to drop for but a moment since he thought he was alone. There was a look of annoyance upon his face as he looked around. Where had she gone? Likely to another ruin.
When he felt the presance of someone behind him the master sword was drawn upon instinct as he pointed it toward where the sound was. It wasn’t a good idea to sneak up on someone who had spent their life training as much as Link had. Link moved closer to see what lurked nearby to where he was located.
Upon seeing that it not an enemy Link put the sword back into the sheath on his back. The stone masked expression returned. The hero simply kept looking for Zelda like the other wasn’t there. This would likely anger the other person but Link was too focused on his mission.
