aight ok im only gonna be brief here and NOT write essays unless people REALLY wanna know but my main big ones are as follows. also these are mostly abt the newest trilogy

- reylo isnt AS BAD and disgusting and evil as lots of people make it out to be and people who dont like it really need to calm down when it comes to reacting to people who do like it

- kylo ren is an interesting character and its ok for people to like him/want to see him redeemed

- kylo getting redeemed isn’t as big an insult as lots of people are making it out to be and really need to calm down

- rose tico is. kind of boring/annoying in my opinion and if she was cut from the franchise i honest to god wouldnt notice or miss her

- shipping a m/f couple does NOT make you homophobic

- along with the above, not shipping poe/finn doesn NOT inherently make you racist

- also, not liking finn DOES NOT immediately make you racist 

- this isn’t really discourse i see on tumblr but rey being a “”””mary sue””” really isn’t that big a deal

- overall people need to stop taking star wars so seriously, and just sit back and enjoy it for what it is. an overdramatic space opera with cool spaceships and laser sword fights

idk if they count as memes, more like trends i guess, but there was also hipster vs. fandom blogs, overuse of the word peasant, superwholock of course (i initially joined here bc of sherlock and the avengers), tumblr prom, “””summoning””” popular users by mentioning them in random posts (pizza, john green, etc.)
