It is the belief and willingness to stamp out any radqueers and harmful ideologies out of the queer community;alongside other communities affected by radqueers. Gloryqueer embraces the freedom of expression and the power to be aggressive to those who are harmful and pushing rhetoric that proves stereotypes to marginalized communities. We also reclaim the word normal as a means to make being queer normalized, while pushing out harmful rhetoric — most harmful rhetoric (radqueers, non-recovering / pro-contact pedophilia, darkshipping, etc) is not normal;they try to frame themselves as if they are.

Crescentqueer believes that we should each strive for what is best for all. However, the label also acknowledges that many people have differing ideas of such a thing. So generally, it believes it best to leave those not agreeing with these stances yet not causing much active harm be. Anyone harassing those who disagree with them is not welcome in our community.

Additionally, near anyone can change. Those recovering from paraphilias, leaving communities such as the Xenosatanist, Radqueer, Proshipper, or Darkshipper communities, or going through some form of redemption otherwise are all welcome here and should be treated with the same level of care and respect as others.

It also puts science before anything. If something is not proven to exist (for example, endogenic systems), causes harm, and goes against what research we do have regarding it, then Crescentqueer is against it until one of the above is no longer applicable. As science regarding something changes, its beliefs will naturally follow.

when you say you are pro-recovery . it goes for everyone .

you do not draw a line just because someone so happens to have a paraphiliac disorder that you dont like . you do not draw the line just because they have a pedophilic disorder . you do not ever draw the line for someone because of a disorder they have that formed out of their control .

A Late Issued Apology!

lately , ive seen more people talking about a gif i had made earlier when this account was made , aka this , to which a months later i acknowledge that it is harmful .

im not trying to excuse my actions , rather just explaining why i made it and what caused me to do so .

originally , it was posted early when this account was made on may 30th , i had a lot of different views at that time . i was also in a elevated mood prior to that for a few months , meaning i would do stuff impulsively . i fully believe that i made that gif under impulse at the time as i was also extremely angry about the radqueer community and harmful stuff alike . i had made it to show my aggressive nature and dislike towards people and communities like these .

however one thing to note about it , i have seen a lot of people make ties with it being racist due to it being a lynching gif . and while yes i understand your concern and the history behind it , i had never intended to be racist . though i do know that while i did not mean , it doesnt always mean it wont come off that way so i apologize for that .

the inspiration for that gif actually came from me watching a gone_fishinq video about pediverse . i have watched him for a few years and i adore his editing style , it caught my attention of him using a graphic similar to my gif ( both are able to be seen in the intro and the outro of the video ) .

admittedly , i dont blame him for using it especially for the subject of the video . seeing that made me want to do the same as a way to show my stances and that im not a safe space for them ; in other words , i wanted them to fuck off . however , in recent times i see how thats harmful in my case .

truthfully ? i dont care about this gif that i had made because it doesn’t match my views anymore , it slightly irritates me that people still use it as a reason to drag onto my community even though i did it to myself and not anyone else . not everyone shares the same view nor do they agree with every view . yeah , it irritates me but ultimately i do not care .

personally i wont take the post down unless a majority of people tell me to or feel like its the best decision . i believe that people should know what kind of person i was in the past ( even if it was like months ago ) and allow them to make their opinion about me . if you like me ? ok . if you dont like me ? ok . i dont really care , as long as you dont spread misinformation i dont care what you think of me .

a lot of people also call me paramisic , and while i understand how it may come off that way from how the gif is drawn , im not paramisic .

and a message to a few radqueers who made something in similar fashion to my gif but against antis . just because i did it doesnt mean you should too . its bad , therefore , you shouldnt do it . i understand how it couldve made you uncomfortable or feel threatened but it doesnt make sense to see someone make a “gas your local anti” gif . you arent helping anyone , not even your community .

i dont coin stuff that often , ive only done so once for radnormal / gloryqueer since thats as much energy as ill ever have to put time into things . however if i ever do plan to coin a stance or something that includes an emoji or symbol , i dont think ill ever use letters from a culture that im not apart of .

to each their own , i just dont find any sense in using symbols that dont belong to you . its like stealing almost if not already stealing , afterall you can potentially associate the letter with something bad if it comes off that way .

not to point any fingers , but it is so common to see things in the radqueer community + adjacent to use symbols that do not belong to them . like xenosatanism using greek letters , or the common paraphiliac disorder symbols also using greek symbols . and a new instance of necrophiles using the eye of horus . if i remember correctly , egyptian symbols / hieroglyphics are closed , however im not sure for greek letters .

id say you can just use emojis that are already there for your disposal , if you happen to be apart of a culture that you want to use symbols for , i wouldnt object but id hope people are aware for what may become in the future if ever used .
