I remember knowing someone who tried to lie and get me into the radqueer space (ew) by glorifying to me because at the time I had no knowledge of these people or what they did. (This is related I promise). They’d preach freedom in fiction and that it didn’t effect reality and if “you didn’t act on your urges” (they were a necrophile btw.) than it was fine to want to do this.

Anyways same “friend” went through insanity fueled psychosis were, I’m not gonna get into detail about, but let’s just say they did some not so okey dokie stuff to themself.

I believe that fiction can affect reality and individuals, if someone keeps indulging in content made for them, (for example, necro) It CAN make them worse. In fact, I’m a prime example.

when I used to be younger, pre-teen, I was a darkshipper. It started out small, but then I got into C.AI and AO3 which then fuelled the need to consume more incest, rape, pedophilia and etc. Later when I grew a bit older, I realised what I was doing was fucking horrible. It’s been years since and I’ve stopped since then, but I still feel very disgusted by it even if it was fictional, I was loosing myself essentially. I understand how you feel, I understand what it’s like to get into these communities thinking it’s “okay” when it truly is not.

From my understanding, it’s whenever someone is a system and has headmates/alters formed WITHOUT trauma. Which is, by the way, not scientifically possible. They don’t fit medical based information/symptoms. While being similar to DID/OSDD, this cannot ever happen. As DID/OSDD are medically recognised, they form from severe repeated childhood trauma in early childhood. They happen with reason and cause. And endos? Apparently, they’re the same but have “no trauma.” They’re also not medically recognised.

however keep in mind, not all endos are truly endogenic. Some people deny their trauma as they don’t want to remember it, or are in denial of being a system.

BUT to answer, for some reason I didn’t see this in my inbox???? I changed it to normal, due to how I see queer as BEING normal. Being queer and gay and trans should be normalized, not radqueers if you can even differentiate them. Queer people have been oppressed for so many years, decades even. Just like other minorities, like Black, POC, Disabled and others have been oppressed in history. They never hurt anyone, neither do queers. A lot of people ask this question sooo I don’t mind, I didn’t really know what name to use. Normalqueer is probably taken, besides it’s too long

however, radqueers are harmful, I literally do not want to argue my stance on this as I’ve seen enough evidence and what it has done to people.
