this wouldn’t happen to me if I were a globster
Possibly my favorite cryptid of all time is a globster called Trunko that was spotted fighting a pair of orcas off the coast of South Africa in 1924.  It was most likely a chunk of dead whale but the witnesses’ descriptions are so vivid and whimsical and it just makes me smile. Â
Drawn in the style of a children’s book because it strikes me as a friendly beast that saves kids from drowning and shark attacks and other forms of nautical peril.

One of my favorite things in the world are globsters. "Look! A plesiosaur skeleton!" Nope it's another basking shark. It's always basking sharks. And they would have gotten away with it too if it weren't for those meddling biologists.

i can’t find that sea monster post again but nevermind (edit: it’s [here]). It’s most likely a dead whale with decomposing blubber as most globsters are. NOT a sea monster sadly
