Banyak orang pandai mencari uang.. Tetapi sedikit yang pandai menjaga uang. Padahal dalam Islam, harta adalah amanah.

Rasulullah ﷺ bersabda,

"Tidak akan bergeser kedua kaki seorang hamba pada hari kiamat sampai ia ditanya... tentang hartanya, dari mana ia memperolehnya dan untuk apa ia membelanjakannya."

(HR. At-Tirmidzi)

Artinya, bukan hanya cara mencari uang yang dipertanggungjawabkan. Cara membelanjakannya pun akan dihisab.

Karena itu, tujuan manajemen keuangan keluarga Islami bukan sekadar agar rekening bertambah banyak.

Tujuan utamanya adalah menghadirkan keberkahan.

Sebab keluarga yang kuat bukanlah keluarga yang paling kaya, melainkan keluarga yang mampu mengelola amanah Allah dengan penuh tanggung jawab, hidup sederhana meskipun mampu, gemar berbagi meskipun tidak berlebihan, serta menjadikan setiap rupiah sebagai jalan menuju ridha Allah.

Dear God Chose Islām (Peace and Harmony for the World) 🙏

Surah Al-Baqarah (2:208) O you who have believed, enter into Islām (peace and tranquility) completely [and perfectly] and do not follow the footsteps of Satan. Indeed, he is to you a clear enemy. _ Surah Ali 'Imran (3:19) Indeed, the religion in the sight of god is Islām (peace and tranquility) . And those who were given the Scripture did not differ except after knowledge had come to them - out of jealous animosity among themselves. And whoever disbelieves in the verses of god, then indeed, god is swift in [taking] account. _ Surah Ali 'Imran (3:85) And whoever desires other than Islām (peace and tranquility) as religion - never will it be accepted from him, and he, in the Hereafter, will be among the losers. _ Surah Al-Ma'idah (5:3) …This day I have perfected for you your religion and completed My favor upon you and have approved for you Islām (peace and tranquility) as religion… _ Surah Al-An'am (6:125) So whoever god wants to guide - He expands his breast to [contain] Islām (peace and tranquility) … _ Surah At-Tawbah (9:74) …and they disbelieved after their [acceptance of] Islām (peace and tranquility) … _ Surah Az-Zumar (39:22) So is one whose breast god has expanded to [accept] Islām (peace and tranquility) and he is upon a light from his Lord [like one whose heart rejects it]? Then woe to those whose hearts are hardened against the remembrance of god… _ Surah Al-Hujurat (49:17) They consider it a favor to you that they have accepted Islām. Say, "Do not consider your Islām (peace and tranquility) a favor to me. Rather, god has conferred favor upon you that He has guided you to the faith…" _ Surah As-Saff (61:7) And who is more unjust than one who invents about god untruth while he is being invited to Islām (peace and tranquility)

_ Salam

Surah An-Nisa (4:86) And when you are greeted with a greeting [of Salam], greet with one better than it or return it… Surah Yunus (10:25) And god invites to the Home of Salam (Peace)… Surah Al-Furqan (25:63) And the servants of the Most Merciful are those who walk upon the earth in humility, and when the ignorant address them, they say Salam (Peace). Surah Ya-Sin (36:58) [They will be told], "Salam (Peace)!" — a word from a Merciful Lord.

_ Muslims

Surah Al-Hajj (22:78) …He has named you Muslims (submitters who attain peace and harmony) before… Surah Al-Baqarah (2:128) …and make us Muslims (submitters in peace and harmony)… Surah Ali 'Imran (3:52) …We are Muslims (submitters who live in peace and harmony). Surah Al-Ma'idah (5:111) …and we are Muslims (submitters who attain peace and harmony).

_ Mu'minun

Surah Al-Mu'minun (23:1) Certainly, the Mu'minun (believers who attain peace and harmony) have succeeded. Surah Al-Anfal (8:2) The true Mu'minun (believers who find inner peace and harmony) are only those… Surah Al-Hujurat (49:15) The [true] Mu'minun (believers who live in peace and harmony) are only those who have believed…

_ Islam peace in war

In Sicily, there wasn’t simply an Arab invasion. There was a Sicilian invitation.

That sentence sounds odd. But it’s how one of the most important chapters in Sicilian history began.

In 827 AD, Muslim forces from North Africa crossed to Sicily. Most people remember that as an invasion.

What they rarely hear is why they came in the first place.

A Sicilian admiral named Euphemius had rebelled against the Byzantine empire he previously served.

Byzantine rule in Sicily was distant, extractive, and brittle, with imperial governors sent from the east to squeeze the island for grain and gold, and ship both back to Constantinople. Sicily was treated less like a fortress guarding the sea routes, and more like a granary feeding the ambitions of the Byzantine Empire.

Facing defeat, Euphemius sought outside help and appealed to the Aghlabid rulers of Ifriqiya (Tunisia), offering the deal of a lifetime to the Muslim rulers:

𝘏𝘦𝘭𝘱 𝘮𝘦 𝘵𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘚𝘪𝘤𝘪𝘭𝘺, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘐 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘥𝘦𝘭𝘪𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘪𝘵 𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘰 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘴.

The Aghlabids accepted.

What followed was less a lightning conquest than a war that lasted more than seventy years.

Cities changed hands repeatedly.

Some Sicilians fought alongside the Byzantines. Others sided with the Muslim newcomers.

Alliances shifted, loyalties fractured, and the island became the battleground for competing visions of power.

Palermo fell in 831 and eventually became one of the greatest cities in the Mediterranean.

Syracuse held out until 878.

The last major Byzantine stronghold, Taormina, fell in 902, though Byzantine resistance lingered in parts of northeastern Sicily for years afterward.

None of this means this period of conquest was peaceful. But simply reducing it to the “Arabs invaded Sicily” flattens the local political crisis in Sicily that opened the door in the first place.

Empires are often conquered from the outside.

They usually begin collapsing from the inside.

Sometimes the army at the gate is there because someone inside unlocked it.
