Nationality (before moving to America): danish

Preferred pronouns: uses no pronouns, presents masculinely and prefers they/them to he/him but is fine with either. if you know matthias, matthias prefers no pronouns. matthias considers themself agender, as in, no gender at all. matthias is okay with masculine terms used towards and referring to them but they don’t consider themself a boy. matthias doesnt like nonbinary terms or feminine terms either. if you use pronouns when matthias has told you about matthias’ gender matthias will probably kick your ass tbh.

Basic background (at least two paragraphs worth): when matthias was 9, matthias and matthias’ mother moved to america from denmark, so his mother could get a better job. matthias’ had divorced when matthias was very young and they never saw their father. matthias was raised with very loose gender roles, their mother just buying whatever toys and clothes they wanted. they came to terms with their gender being “not boy or girl” around 13 and then figured out the term agender and started using it to apply to themself. 

they are dfab and have had top surgery and are currently on t. matthias never really came out to their mother because she was never around so she still uses matthias’ birth name (mia) and she/her pronouns. this makes matthias extremely uncomfortable and upset but luckily matthias doesn’t have to deal with seeing their mother very often.

Personality (at least two paragraphs worth):

matthias is very easy going in most aspects of their life. matthias is happy most of the time and is easy to make friends with, but is a little overbearing. matthias likes making friends and very rarely doesn’t like someone. approaches everything matthias does with an optimistic mindset. matthias is very keen on looking cool in front of other people which will often get matthias hurt or in trouble.

matthias may seem arrogant but the act of seeming strong in any adversary is mostly to keep others from being anxious or upset. matthias is a very loyal friend and will back any of matthias’ friends up without hesitation. matthias is very loud and enjoys hanging out with people but matthias’ loud and outgoing demeanor can definitely tire people out quickly.

Random facts about the character:

loves the ocean and swimming, likes playing video games but is really bad at them, really really likes fall out boy, is open to listening to any music, will try anything if someone suggests it to them
