Manifesting Lone Star pulling a Glee c.2013 and waiting until the end of the episode and zooming out to reveal a hidden engagement ring box…
The girlies that know, KNOW.
Hello - how are you?
Do you know when the term blangst originated in the glee fandom? Was it something someone thought up someday, and was if after a particular episode (such as after Cough Syrup?)
Thanks Jen
Ooh that's a good question. Definitely have never seen it related to any other fandom—but I can't recall if it appeared only after Cough Syrup. No reason it couldn't have originated earlier. My guess would be it originated through fic, as soon as we heard about Blaine's history re: Dalton and bullying.
If anyone else has a recollection, please share it :)
I can't speak for everyone but personally my POC gleek culture is being told that musical theatre and glee is "white people shit" my whole life and so whenever I find another POC who's into glee/musical theatre I die a little ecstatic death
So...RB if you're POC and love MT and Glee i just gotta
Glee had four types of performance only:
ICONIC
Bizarre
Iconic AND bizarre
Iconic BECAUSE they're bizarre

Hello! What is your favorite Klaine scene and why?
Baby's first ask omg! Thanks for your question...though i have to say i could never choose just ONE scene, i have a particular affinity for the Lima Bean scenes. My favourite is the one where Kurt is trying to get Blaine to transfer to McKinley because that is just Kurt&Blaine at the core, being best friends and young lovers, teasing and bantering, figuring out relationships together.
I mean...just LOOK at their faces, they're just so happy and smitten and fucking adorable.
There is a clear distinction between Early!Klaine and Adult!Klaine in my mind and this coffee shop scene is the embodiment of Early!Klaine at their best to me.
Of course there are the Quintessential Klaine Scenes such as the Box scene, the McKinley transfer scene, the 'i love you' scene(they are literally Falling in Love at a Coffee Shop), the Christmas surprise Ice Skating at Bryant Park scene...i could go on forever.
Honourable mention for the scene that in my mind, marks the transition to Adult!Klaine - the Thanksgiving phone call on the fire escape. The fact that they acknowledge that at the core, they are still each other's best friends is why i love Klaine so much. That they promise to communicate(something they're not very good at) and that Kurt manages to admit he still loves Blaine...and of course the level of emotion Darren and Chris display. It's truly a beautiful scene.
(thanks for your question again and sorry for the essay haha)
I'm going to be the best Jewish elf ever!
Today is Klaine’s 4th wedding anniversary and although a lot of things have changed in these past four years and I’m not as much of a fan of them as I used to, I can’t deny that Kurt and Blaine still have a very special place in my heart. Not only because they are a very cute couple, but because they really paved the way for many of the lgbtq+ couples we see today in all our favorite TV shows.
I’ve always said it, but credit where credit is due, and Klaine, with all their good and bad things, changed the game for lgbtq+ couples on mainstream television and we can’t forget that.
So here’s to you, my boys, I hope that wherever you are, you’re celebrating your anniversary with a very fancy dinner while serenading each other with the most romantic songs ever written.
