    elli was taken aback by her words --    he knew she was having struggles,    but to actually hear such a despair-    rooted comment...it was hard.

    “you...wh- why? what..where are you    going?”                   he tried to look her in the eye,    but he couldn’t; he felt his chest tighten    and his breath struggle to get out. 

    graciously, the doctors had deemed him healthy     enough to walk around the campus again -- thanks     to meeting yuuki and hanging out with her that day,     the doctors felt a lot more comfortable with his     condition.  

    while he was out, he saw that familiar figure again;     he had to thank her, not only because he wasn’t     trapped in bed all day, but because he hadn’t...had     people who seemed like they liked him.
