Okay, so let me preface. I [25F] and my friend [61M] have known eachother for a long while. Like, a really long while. So when I found out he was getting married, I jumped at the opportunity to be his wedding planner (I have a certificate from an online course).

The guy he was getting married to [57M] is... weird. Corpo, homebody, always looks 5 seconds away from asking you to bring him a mint julep, the works.

My friend's an adventurous type, TOTALLY unlike him. The few things they do share is your typical geezer activities like smoking cigars and reading.

So, obviously, picking out a venue that would fit them both was harder than Dark Souls.

But I managed to find one, an obscure frozen rimworld that wasn't even on most maps. But it was equal parts frozen wasteland full of beasts and quaint, charming town. At least that's what the brochure said.

In reality, the place was full of weird alien cult shit. I'm not gonna say what exactly happened or the corpo guy might sue, but TLDR he got possessed by some vault-powered straight guy and almost got turned into him, and we had to go on a whole fucking quest to save his ass.

To be fair, me and my robotic bestie [7B] played a big part in doing so, and so did my mostly organic friend.

The two DID get married, in the corpse of a god, and it was officiated by a veritable badass, but c'mon, I'm pretty sure they're traumatized for life now.
