HELP!
I’m making a fandom painting, based off of the ones that are the fandom necklace, made of PJO, HP, Hunger Games, Divergent, and TMI. But I want to replace Divergent with The Giver quartet, because I’m a bigger fan of that. Does anyone have an idea for a symbol that covers the entire Giver Quartet or just the Giver or anything that could fit in a circle about an inch and a half diameter? I’ve run out of ideas.
Edit: Also, if anyone had an idea of a symbol that represents the Selection series, I might replace the Hunger games with that. Thanks!
On Fire for Fandoms
My posts are not always beautifully worded, but if I am feeling something for the fandom that moment, I will be on fire about it.
If I keep seeing posts that Eadlyn will choose Kile, I will assert my take on the Heir and her character and why I think it is a good option, but how I don’t think that’s who she’ll choose.
If I see ONE. MORE. POST. about why Snape doesn’t deserve to have a child named after him, I will blast off a full ten page essay with references on why you’re right, but also why you’re totally wrong.
If I watch another short fanmade video that doctors Kirk and Spock into a less than platonic friendship I will reach through my computer and slap you a high five, but shudder, b/c that’s not how I see them, but the video was well made and the music behind it was pleasant.
If I scroll through and only find one post about Fierce Einar, I will write 10 more and a diatribe about why he’s the best character and deserves more attention, even though he’s not the main story at all.
If I see the opportunity I will make that horrible pun. Everybody needs another pun in their lives.
If I see a million posts about PJO/HOO but not my favorite characters, I will write my own parallel about whatever is going on.
I do not always write well, but I am not afraid to write a good-sized paper about the things I’m passionate about.
Did Jonas’s birthmother have trouble delivering? Is every child with a gift born in unusual circumstances? Was the Five Jonas saw around the daughter of some poor birthmother who was reassigned after she had her because she was “unsuitable” for the task? Or was Claire special? Was there something different about just her, or every mother of a gifted child? These are the questions I need answered.
@i-have-seen-beyond this doesn’t really count as a headcanon, I guess, because they’re questions, but it could be canon/headcanon that a difficult birth precedes a child with a gift (if other factors line up too).

@i-have-seen-beyond I finally found the Giver film online so I could watch it before I looked at your blog. You have some really great points about characters and I love your blog!!
where is the giver quartet fandom
Do not watch The Giver it's reductive and aggressive and loses the plot in its attempt to be a flashy movie. If you've read the book it will just annoy the heck out of you and if you haven't, skip the movie and go read it and for heaven's sake not the other way around. And read Gathering Blue and Messenger and Son, the little known sequels to The Giver. I actually just found out the fourth one exists (it came out two years ago and there was an eight year gap between it and Messenger!!) and now I'm so happy and excited to read it aaaaaah.
